12th of February - Transplant Time

Today's the day, I finally transplanted the seedlings into their final home. (5gal smart pots) I should have put them into 1gal and moved to 2.5gal and finally their last pot. However I didn't have any at the time, also I was getting worried because they were showing signs of being root-bound and slight wilting etc

I cut into a few of the roots while cutting the plastic pots away from the medium. However the damage done shouldn't increase their chance of transplant shock. Possibly cut into a maximum of 5 roots with the scissors.
Nice mate. You could proberbly move to half strength Nutes in a week. Looking real nice though. Well done.

Site was down yesterday, had no chance to update.

Watered all three seedlings roughly 500ml - to 2litres with 6.5ml Liquid seaweed extract. @ 5.6pH

Had a few BORON PROBLEMS & OR ZINC LOCKOUT from the last feeding, may have overdone it. The plants have shown signs on the leaves resembling rust.. However it's very very slight. Apart from that, they look very healthy.

I'm starting to use a big 10litre bucket to mix nutrients now along with a 500ml measuring jug to water. I Mixed 10ml both A+B to 10litres of water + 5ml of Cal-Mag. Measured the EC @ 0.9.

Measured the run-off @ 6.4pH watered all roughly 2.5litres each.

24th February

I mixed 10ml A+B & 30ml of Liquid Seaweed Extract to 10 litres of water. Measured the EC @ 1.0 pH @ 5.7.

May have had the wrong reading last time, don't know exactly why the EC is 1.0 today. I added no Cal-Mag and added less nutrients due to slight nutrient burn last feeding.

Leaves still continuing to yellow inwards with green veins, so flushed with 10ml Cal-Mag in 10 litres of water with a pH @ 6.2 (Optimum absorption of magnesium above 6.0) and an EC @ 0.4 with 10% runoff.
Recommended no nutes every 3rd watering to remove salt buildup.

Day 44

Top leaves looking healthy at the moment, so topped once more to expose the new growth sites, adjusted hygrometer and lifted lights to desired temp.

Added 10ml A + 10ml B and 15ml liquid seaweed to 10 litres water. EC @ 0.9, pH @ 5.8 with 10% runoff @ pH 6.5

Hi Matty, just trying to not give them too many nutes at the moment. Growth has been steady but now they've slightly wilted after topping them :shock::shock: I wasn't going to top them again though. Hope they'll recover!

Decided yesterday to raise the lights up and turning the fan down maintaining a leaf temp 71-75f. They seem quite bushy, stems are really thick and should be ready for the net soon if they stretch more.
