I agree. I'm saying that anything confiscated by police sould be nothing more than evidence until the person is proven guilty. Without even pressing any charges against them they truly are nothing more than armed robbers with badges.

I agree that police overstepping the line is bad, but $20k in cash? Most states have limits of $10,000 undeclared. Anymore than that, and they can legally take it from whoever they like, unless they can prove they received it by lawful means. I know, its fucked up, but it's the law.
Not arresting the folks at the site, and taking their stash sounds like a shake down to me, but unless he can provide proof he garnered the funds legally, AND paid taxes on it, he can get it back. Granted, it sounds to me if they took his receipts, they are investigating him for either money laundering and/or tax evasion. This is where LEO and DEA get most growers and proprietors.

I was going to mention this yesterday, but didn't want to find the link. Doesn't make much difference but, it wasn't 20K. It was closer to 3K, wrong is wrong anyways. Although, and I'm not scared to say, whats wrong if somebody makes a dollar??geesh...having money= a crime? Does anyone think the rest of the medical industry does what they do for fun? I believe in some compassion too, getting whats fair, not getting over on someone. Who can save Oakland county from itself! Strange Days. Just waiting for some more favorable precedents to be set and keeping my head down. Let's all hope for some more victories, but row away from the rocks.

I'm sure this isn't too far off actually. This is the 2nd time he's run state-wide, and the 2nd time he couldn't win Oakland County :/ (Stabenow took it in 06, and Snyder took it in the primary and the general in 12). I guess some people like being professional losers.

Personally I stay out of Oakland county at all cost!!! This is bullshit and I'm sure we won't here anything more about this cause its going to settle out. I have yet to see a outcome from a raid that was conducted. You have to make sure you use the gray areas to you advantage.
