When you winterize and start the final step to winterize it how much do you guys put into the Pyrex? Do you guys put a small amount of liquid and wait for it to dry each time and scrape and pour more in or do you guys just pour the whole jar of liquid onto the pyrex and let that all evaporate?

I just pour it all and let it evap. but I have done it the other way a bit at a time seems to last longer that way lol

I pour it all in. It will form its own thin film.

Ahh okay. Last time I winterized I poured little by little and got perfect shatter on scrape and the previous one before that I poured about half the jar and it never shattered up completely.

Ethanol extractions are polar and don't typically extract the plant waxes. Most of the wax comes from the leaves, not the trichomes.

Yes you can, he was saying basically that you wouldn't need to winterize this it's a polar solvent. But yes, you can use moonshine to make shatter. Just make sure it's high proof. Check out the skunk Pharm site about qwEtho.

i was just curious since lots of keif is easier to get than lots of quality trim. i just know i cant stuff keif in my tubes

With keif, the long soak method is maybe a bit easier to do. What people do with their tubes, is I believe they go material, keif, then material.
