Qwiso, question about quality versus yield

So i have made qwiso 3 times now. My quality has gotten much better but my yield much worse, am i washing too quickly? Or is it just the nature of Qwiso that the better you make the less the yield unless u wash longer and tolerate more chlorophyll? I find now my first run is carmel colored, consistency of good wax, and smokes like BHO but my second run is dark and tastes a little like smoking resin, still potent but not very enjoyable. Basically i am looking for a middle ground, higher yield and better quality than the second wash but probably a little lower quality than the first wash. Is this possible? would the best method be to wash ocne for longer and then just use second wash for edibles? or Maybe mix both washes before evaporation?

My method:
Start with trim and bottom/popcorn bud from a very high quality plant.
Freeze all products thoroughly (iso plant matter jars)
Fill frozen jar with frozen material and iso to cover material, allow sit for 10 seconds, swirl and lightly shake for 20 seconds
Strain through metal stainer then coffee filter, place plant matter in bag and back in freezer
Set aside wash 1 to evaporate with fan for 36 hrs from high surface area dish
repeat process with the used material for wash 2, filter with 2 coffee filters instead of 1.

It seems like there's a hundred ways to do a quick wash. I do 1-3 min washes, depending on what wash I'm on. You may be selling yourself short with 10-20 second washes. And if you end up with a green color, just evaporate slowly. I've washed un-curred buds and it was super green. 5 day evap and there wasn't a stitch of chlorophyll left in the product. I guess it depends on how you're going to use your extract too though. I was doing quick washes for vape juice.

I washed both runs at 2 mins and got golden colour, only swirling it lightly a few times

60 grams of small bud and sugar leaf, got back just under 10 grams of golden oil for my syringes

Fyi, i also used heat to evap

im still very new to this stuff, so not sure if that also makes a difference in yield or quality, i know it def sped things up, the last time i did 2 washes and 2 cooks and was completely done everything within 3 hours. Majority of the time was spent straining through coffee filters and the late stage , letting the final bit of iso burn off very slowly.

I know it gave the exact consistency i was looking/hoping for, runny enough to be sucked up in syringes

Best of luck with the next run bud, fire off some pics, i would love to see your final product, as im sure others would too.
