Maybe it was a case of not trying some really good bubble hash? Because it certainly smells and tastes fantastic when done correctly. Also you may have tried hash from a 3rd or 4th wash if it lacked flavor or taste. Like most things if you do it yourself you know what you're getting as most hash makers save the cream of the crop from the first wash for themselves. A lot of rosin makers start with bubble hash to get the purest not solvent extraction possible. From there you can make other non solvent concentrates. I would say it's a very far cry from being an experiment gone wrong

Found a page that lists online dispensaries that sell it, I suppose the prices are pretty good, but out of my reach for a while... I'll ask my buddy if he'll sell me some trim from their harvest when it's ready (outdoor) I'm sure he'd give me a special deal, and that would likely be sooner than I could afford it online.
Yeah I find with smaller microns you want to ease the pressure up slowly. Less heat helps to get brighter yellow, not as amber.
