why is it growing like that?

yes i understand this but if u read the ditty u will see the reason as to why i am making this plant fight for survival read the ditty on riddleme thread calling all noobs its on page 41...

I just jumped over to that thread and didn't see anything about drowning lol Are you sure it is on 41? Post a link, because I would like to read it too.
 
well not to much to report...the clone that i dropped on the floor and had broke didnt really seem to be growing anymore but there were alot more amber trichs and it looked as though it was ready so down she went...she has been hanging for a few days and is almost dry...it sux i wasnt able to grow it out somemore it woulda been cool to have a nice 7gram cola off her but nope lol....

the tree set in the bucket of water and into darkness has been doin a whole lot of drinking! i have toppd the water off yesterday morning...it doesnt seem to be drinking as much now...not to sure if the process has started or not but i think maybe tonight or tomorro i will be giving her the chop! will have pics on next update!

also the topped tree is now in the flowering cab with 4 cfls all to herself! shes loving it cant wait to see some buds on her! i think she will tripple the yeild im going to get of my lady...hopefuly all works out and i can keep her!(been told this is my last grow under this roof) but ay if they dont kno i harvested one then they wont kno another is starting to bud...soon i will only be down to just her :( the 4clones are going to a new home as soon as their new parents come to pick them up
 
i just squeezed one of the buds on the tree and they are rock hard! also the smell from it now is almost completely different! cant beleive the change in the smell in just 2days! well i think i might actually be chopping tonight!
 
well guys nothin but great results from the drowning...idk if u can see a big difference by the pics but my god she has gotten super sticky and it looks as if its swelled even more! well there are 3times as much crystals probably due to the 3days of darkness..ina bout another 12-24 hrs she will b chopped i mean i hope the pics speaks for itself..hop eu like!:leaf:

the reason we use the dark cycle or harvest during lights off is because this is supposedly when the plant has sent all the nutes back into the roots and go to sleep(have u ever noticed plants at night, and no i dont really mean "sleep").
i would much rather let my plant dry out rather than be flooded when im ready to harvest.

Then do what you do...but stay tuned for this if u wanna learn something...its called fermenting the plant while it is still alive.....will taste awesome as long as the rest of the fermenting process is allowed to occur

I'll definitely be drowning mine - shyte, I want nicely cured buds as quickly as possible. My grow is my first grow for many years and I haven't had a smoke for 5 years ... but I want a nice smoke ... but quickly :-)
 
thanks guys! all done with cfls as well! ive used hids be4 but never just a cfl and would never imagine getting these results...still cant beleive it...but the drowning has really helped! u can p[rety much smell it curing and once i pulled her out the closet i was amazed! i couldnt beleive how sticky the bud was and how much it smelled like a cured nugget! well i cant wait to chop i will def. let u guys kno if there is a difference between a bud i had picked earlier that i smoked after it dried and what this lady taste like after a drowning and dry! i cant wait! the smell in my room since ive been drowning has made me want to chop her even more!...

btw if people are worried about 'murdering' ur plant by drowning it..whats the worst that could happen? its pretty much 3days be4 u kill her anyway

im gon to try it with a headband im bringin down in a week or so. i hope my results are as good as yours.
 
i really think that deficiency i had right be4 harvest effected my overall yeild :( but ay this shit is high grade so imma b happy
