When do your plants start to smell?

I usually first notice a smell when I'm removing dying yellow fan leaves. That starts in the
fourth or fifth week of flowering.

I've got 3 flowering for 31 days now and it barely smells at all. Everynow and then my room will smell kind of, but all in all i only have to open my ONA gel for like 5 minutes twice a week tops.
Hoping the Dinafem WW will stink! bongsmilie

Depends on the strain of marijuana, in my case from 5th week of veg I can smell the resisn of my plants quite bad. 4 , 7 week of flower its really smelly enen with a big Ass extractor unit.

All ways invest in quality units for removing the air ( holding the smells ) out of your house

Hi Jay, having a smell problem , could be potentially a situation . Can you recommend . Have 2 filters on it going up the chimney . Cheers

i had some that stunk at a couple weeks into veg. my last run with mango/kush didn`t stink at all till i chopped it. this run of g13/skunk and sour deisel with 1 critical jack is just going into the second week of flower and they are starting to stink. personally i`ld rather grow the stuff that doesn`t stink.

SO many factors such as the , strain or even heat of room. Turpins are release many times in room where temperature is above 82

They will smell from day one if your ventilation isn't proper.
Nah, I'm not that lucky.
I actually like the fresh smell better than the burned/ smoked smell, but the last few plants I have grown, only have intermittent/ mild odor, nothing strong as I like.

Thanks, that's good to know-a couple times my temps have gotten up to almost 90 for an hour or two.

Oh definatly man, i'd much rather smell a strong skunky plant then smell the room after it's been smoked. There's just this funkiness to the growing plant that doesnt stick after drying and curing. I could smell this shit all day long

& Yeah dude I guess it's all strain dependent... These girls will be on week 7 in two days and they STILL wont stink up my room like i'm wanting them to

I'm like 27 days in I think and my shit just absolutely reeks, I have to many smelly strains going, diesel, blue widow and the cheese is just wow! I do not recommend cheese to anyone worried about odor.

Uh oh! Just planted my first cheese auto. Guess I'll have to spring for that carbon filter after all... 8-)

Some strains smell crazy starting at week 3, i've had strains that smelt meh until week 7-8 then ended up being my favorite with such a strong ripe smell.

I wish I could find some true skunk bud seeds. I'm not sure any of these folks who sell skunk strain buds or seeds actually know what a skunk smells like because what they sell does not resemble a skunk smell in any way. I just bought 3 seeds of Number One Skunk...two came up and are growing nice but no smell yet. I'm hoping, I sadly believe they may have cross bred out the terpenes that smell that way...people were giving away their grows by the smell you cannot hide...but in the process took away the awesome buzz that comes with true skunk bud. Do you know of any seeds for plants that will smell like a skunk, and not fruity pebbles. Just sayin'.

Stinkiest i have grown was the purps from bc bud depot. Skunky in veg, and eyewatering in flower.
I would grow it again.
