Time to introduce the objects of my affection, I popped 20 seeds in 5 seed increments over the last year and a half that brought out my og chem dude. These are the first two girls, technically they are cuts off my first two girls. My luck is shifting, they really have the characteristics I have been looking for! There were two main phenotypes I was looking for, I wanted one of each dominant parent. I had them before and this cross had amazing representations of each “leaner.”
The last time I had these they grew just like these in terms of structure and smell so I’m extremely encouraged and my plants are acting normal to me I am less worried about getting a true expression from my flower room. One looks like it’s chem parent the other looks og. The parents are motorbreath 15 (Pisces genetics) X chem d bx2 (rezevoir seeds). I’m still ready to throw my last pack down but I’m joyfully optimistic on these! Flower pics to come!
I’m sure it’s obvious...

Some shots of meat! The bud shots are meat madness (meatloaf x lurch) and the little veger that’s got a lot of color is meat breath, the parent stock to the meatloaf cut. I think that is correct. Basically the meat madness was a second pairing, working the characteristics that he liked in the meat breath cross is how gromer describes it on Instagram.
Meat breath is easily one of the tastiest strains I have ever tasted, very rich and pungent, very unique taste, and a nice long linger. Real nice laid back hybrid high, Cheech and Chong style. We will see what happens but that meat madness is setting up to be superb! I made about 5-10 seeds on her with the dude. They are late flower seeds so they are easy to find and remove and will be nice and fat! The dude showed a nice balance of its parents in terms of structure and aroma. 8D81FE10-8C3F-4986-8091-ECA9B4F127AA.jpeg5779CD58-DD9F-480A-8B2E-0530B4B70A08.jpeg70AA9D94-7681-4C0B-839B-8B9B32BE25B1.jpeg0A3D0291-8BF0-47CC-958C-A6F2D5353AEE.jpeg7D7BA00C-5E40-4CF2-B0D9-CB2FF8610E34.jpeg1928C91E-6E7F-4AC4-A4AC-C6EFA4B301DB.jpeg

Meat madness, seems to be about 73 days, give or take. I think she would have finished about now had I not seeded her even so slightly. She seems like she’s about to go ahead and nip it. I went ahead and gave her one last feeding, honestly against my better judgment, she Had already slowed on uptake and is not a finicky gal but she doesn’t like over feeding. Needless to say it went straight to her head I’ve been apologizing ever since. Her smell had picked up a citrus note that has settled into an orange flintstone vitamin smell over top of the earthy funkiness, drooling. The chem cookie trip is around 50 days I think, she is moving so fast it’s messing with my internal clock. Terps aren’t really filling in yet but the frost is just starting to lay in. She reminds me of chemdog in terms of structure and bud structure. I’m hoping for a nice blend of chem and cookie, wouldn’t make me sad to have some hints of chocolate trip in there either. 79 Christmas bud is looking sparkly and wrapping up with an earthy pine forest vibe, it’s about 9-10 weeks. Getting excited! Finally a GOOD harvest! I have to note that the CMH not only seems to have normalized the grow it’s obviously amplified the terp signature on the meat, I mean it’s gone up to 11! I read that side by side cmh had the highest terp % across light sources which was the ultimate decision maker for me when choosing to reintroduce hid. Everything was telling me to just grab some of those new super HPS and ride! I still think the HPS is the way to go if you want to make them buds blow up like balloons! Ultimately my girls look happy, that’s what counts. Durban stretched 2.5 X, still have only given her 1/4 of one feeding, she just gets big bloom. She’s like 4 weeks.

Ya, that Durban poison stretches! When I put it in there it was only 14 inches tall now it’s about 4 feet. lol tallest in the room. Your right about that, she about to be a bat! I just need to check her out and see if she’s worth being my sativa. I think I’ve actually sample this cut before, if it’s the one I’m thinking of I’m going to be stoked!

I seem to be getting quite a bit of Kush influence over here too lol. Besides Trynas male that was used in this most recent breeding project the mystery seedling turned out to be sour og x 60's kush which i love, also by T. And i have a freebie og kush 4 days into flower and a couple of clones i took from my gf son's outdoor grow...black dog (blackberry kush x emerald headband) and a nightmare cookies. The sour og cross and a couple of mine that made it to the next round are just white with trics. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I love pheno huntng lol

Puff puff puff #14 nice mix of both parents leans a little on the dads side, heavy with frost and good flavor...............:joint:

Nom nom! I’d love a toke! Sounds tasty! I been craving some good earthiness, so much of the new stuff is just sweet.
Got my hands on a q of some old school sour diesel, it’s a smidget premature but still has the “it”.... puff puff pass!

Old school is good that's what I'm all about it seems lol.

Yeah I got real lucky with that mystery seedling it really was a gift. . Had a bunch of old seeds that wouldn't germ, 7 different strains, and mixed them all on top of one pot that had a plant in it and a few weeks later one seedling came up. It turned out to be a female, couldn't really tell what it was untill it was just about done flowering and was so stoked it was the sour og x 60's kush. I have a real nice clone of her about ready to flower and I'll take some cuttings off of that.

Man I suck at holding the microscope still. lol
Chem cookie trip, she’s beasting! Buds are fat and hard for a 6ish week plant, it has an incredible appetite. I give it full strength every other watering and it cannibalizes itself on off day waterings especially if I give it mycos and big bloom. Stronger feed and she gets tip burn. Feeding every watering seems like a recipe for trouble. I tried just the cal mag with Alaska fish liquid, ph’d of course as I think there might be an issue of the cal mag having some nitrogen and combined with Tiger bloom I think is too much n.

You know how there’s that point at the end where they stop wanting food and slow down on water uptake. She had just hit that point and I thought I could squeeze one in, but she hasn’t been a heavy feeder so my bad.

The Durban Poison! Here’s your sativa Mo! She’s awesome and again doesn’t like food lol my first run at her I put her in some composted soil and it burnt to a crisp overnight. This one just got a teaspoon each of fishbone meal, feather meal, bat guano, clamshell, and magnesium sulfate and a 1/4 bloom feeding to last most of its life. I’ll have to give it a couple feedings but it’s more like every several weeks.
