Trump really is Mean and Stupid

intent counts...not only what you do, but why you do it....
was trump going to release all those people onto the streets of those cities because he knew those cities had facilities to deal with them? because he thought it would be the best place for them to go to await their trials? because they would feel at home in cities that had opened their arms to other immigrants and refugees?
or did trump want to release all those people into those cities to put an enormous strain on their already over used facilities?
was he trying to help anyone? or was he trying to "teach them a lesson" for not doing what trump wants them to do?
for openly defying his racist hateful wishes? i'm not a fan of illegal immigration, but these people ar mostly following the rules, they come here, and do what they're required to do at the border, then they await their trials...that's what the law requires them, AND trump...to do...so they are not illegal immigrants, they are people in legal limbo waiting to find out their futures...and i'm sure trump playing with their lives like game tokens makes them all so very eager to keep following the law...which apparently means less to our own president than it does to immigrants trying to find a better life....

and before you start with the shit about "they never show up for those trials"....

https://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2018/jun/26/wolf-blitzer/majority-undocumented-immigrants-show-court-data-s/
not all, but the large majority do...because they want to be Americans...in spite of trump...
I think you are correct, the best place for refugees is in a city that wants them and Trump is doing this as a Fuck You to those sanctuary cities. But it does seem fair that cities that promote refugee immigration deal with those they attracted.

Well then it was very nice of Trump to let these sanctuary cities benefit from the refugees, everyone should be on board with the decision.

The refugees say they want that. The mayors say they will take them. Trump says he wants to do it.

What's keeping this from happening?

What they're saying: "Sanctuary city" mayors welcome Trump's latest immigration idea

President Trump said his administration is strongly considering placing "illegal immigrants" in sanctuary cities on Friday, marking an increase in the extremity of his immigration ideas.

Senior White House officials and immigration lawyers have told Axios that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would not have enough funds for this and there would be major liabilities if anyone got hurt while being transferred. Regardless, Democratic mayors have said their cities would welcome migrants immigrants if Trump's idea came to fruition.

DALLAS (AP) — Police are canvassing a Dallas neighborhood for anyone who may have witnessed the brutal beating of a transgender woman in an attack that happened in broad daylight in front of a crowd of people and that was caught on cellphone video.

Police say the woman reported the assault while receiving hospital treatment Friday night. According to a police statement, she said she was assaulted that day after a minor traffic accident near the Royal Crest Apartments in the southern part of Dallas.

A purported video of the attack posted on Facebook shows a man in a white shirt viciously beating the woman, apparently into unconsciousness, while the crowd looks on and homophobic slurs are shouted.

Several women eventually carried the victim’s limp body to safety.

NEW YORK (AP) — Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s name is on the lips of nearly everyone at Fox News.

A study found that the New York City Democrat was mentioned 3,181 times on Fox News Channel and its sister Fox Business Network during the six-week period of Feb. 25 to April 7, or just under 76 times a day. Not a day went by when she wasn’t spoken about on Fox.

That reminds me of the story about the guy in Colorado that was checking his garbage cans and the popo was going to shoot him if he didn't put his cane down a few days ago!
I saw one a while back like that. When I was in Colorado back in 1979 an Army Vet was crossing a field and was shot to death for trespassing. His purple heart and bronze star meant nothing on that day. The guy survived Vietnam and gets killed for walking through a field. No charges were filed either. I always remembered that.

President Donald Trump is expressing outrage now about 9/11 through a controversial attempt to use the tragedy to slam Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), but his grief wasn’t quite so obvious right after the terrorist attacks. At the time, Trump gloated that his building at 40 Wall St. had become the tallest in New York City with the collapse of the World Trade Center towers.

Not only was the statement appallingly insensitive, but it was also a lie, former Democratic political strategist and CNN political contributor Paul Begala told Chris Cuomo on Friday.

“This guy has no moral standing ever to try to use our greatest day of national pain for his political gain,” Begala said.

He was responding to a video Trump posted Friday on Twitter that juxtaposed comments by Omar, a Muslim, with footage of the 9/11 attacks. Trump tweeted: “WE WILL NEVER FORGET!”

But Begala recalled Trump’s reaction the morning of the attack: It was all about himself.

“Before the bodies had been cleared or identified, before the wounded had been treated, [Trump] went on television ... and he said: ‘Well, my building at 40 Wall Street is now the tallest building in America,’” Begala recalled. “He bragged about it; it wasn’t true. And it was appallingly bad taste.” (Hear Begala’s comments at 3:12 in the video above.)

Trump said via phone to WWOR in New Jersey that “40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan. And it was actually before the World Trade Center ... the tallest. And then when they built the World Trade Center, it actually became known as the second tallest, and now it’s the tallest.”
