Those Damned Intolerant Liberals

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.” ― Isaac Asimov

The progressive liberal agenda isn’t about being nice. It’s about confronting evil, violence, trauma, and death. It’s about acknowledging the ways systemic power, systemic oppression, systemic evil, work in our world around us. I’m not fighting for diversity. I’m not fighting for tolerance. I’m fighting to overturn horrific systems of dehumanizing oppression.

Here’s a great example of a liberal relationship to diversity: when Ruth Bader Ginsburg was asked how many women on the Supreme Court would be enough, she answered “When there are nine.” In response to the collective gasp of every conservative on earth, she elaborated. “For most of the country’s history, there were nine and they were all men. Nobody thought that was strange.”

Personally I’m not interested in a female president for the sake of “diversity.” Putting a woman in the white house in 2020 won’t mean that gender equality has arrived. We’ve had 45 presidents. It’s going to take 45 women serving as president before we even have a chance to reach parity.

Do you get it now?
I'm sorry, but I don't like calling things stupid, but that's right up there in stupid with:

" If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down." Todd Akin.

Seriously, all you're asking for is attrition. 45 female presidents would take 180 years, minimum, and 360 maximum. No one lives that long. By the time your "equality" is equalized, there'll be tons of men who think, "damn, women are assholes, let's fight for our rights!"

Then the whole thing starts all over.

It's called attrition.

Read some books.

A good read for you on this subject is "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress," by Robert Heinlein. You really need to stop reading junk like "The Handmaid's Tale." It's going to backfire on you.

See, I imagine a world where that world happens because women want to be seen as equal. No more persecution, so let's not let any men ask us out. Then men are so scared to go out even when asked because of fear you'll cry rape after the date(look at the poor mattress girl incident who lied about that guy, and the University settled in favor of the boy, not the lying girl). Then men all become homosexuals and the human race dies out. Now that's a good book!

I was eating a bowl of cereal when I scrolled down to that face. My almond milk ran sour in my mouth and my cereal started tasting like dirt. That broad is ugly mixed with pure evil and no conscience. I fear she stinks as well, applying heavy perfume to cover the smell.
My mother always told me to try to find something nice to say about everyone, even somebody like SS.

So, here goes. umm,

True story

When going to college, I lived on the sixth floor of a dorm. One day when accessing an the elevator from my floor, a largish woman (who very much looked like Sanders) stepped out and I stepped into the elevator. I didn't pay attention until after the door shut but soon found there was a strong smell of fish pervading the elevator. Wanting badly to get out, when the elevator reached ground level, I shot through the doors so fast I almost ran into somebody trying to go in.

On the ground floor, somebody was cooking fish in the communal kitchen.
