It's been my experience from Neurology that often they walk in the dark because every patient is different. The brain? One thing that makes a difference is getting real medicine. On my psychiatric side, and all I'd been through I made them give me brand- if they would do this one thing, they'd have not need for a brain pacemaker- insurance causes issue for doctor treating patients and they have to 'patch' with other generic to give you same as brand but it's only a patch; that has consequences when you and your patient are unaware of existing condition because you'll find out about that condition not in a good way.

The Matrix anaology not far off (created by computers for never ending energy..fusion is better than human energy) but more like Inception..the dream within the dream within the..you get the idea. That part is here. By way of META.

Entirely agree with the makers of the video. Coincidentally yesterday I read an article about astronauts never recovering fully after they return from space. Losing bone mass. Basically if anyone arrives on distant plant they'll need an exoskeleton to walk around, or worse, we turn into blobs. Better to just let the brain think you're on Mars... Total Recall.

We'll be within a dream in a simulation which may or may not run in a physical real reality or be just another dream. The good news is it doesn't matter. META is just some pretentious nonsense from big corps worried of becoming obsolete. It will be an indie developer in a garage, possibly basement, who will create the first satisfactory metaverse. It'll be open source to prevent evil governments from abusing it as a means of controlling the population.

I should really cut down on time travel and watching movies... maybe smoke less... nah...

On a more serious note. That video matches Apple's vision too. While others focus on metaverse, as in complete Virtual Reality, Apple does not use the term, and instead focuses on Augmented Reality, as in enhance reality rather than replacing it entirely with CGI... a type of CGI far inferior to what we perceive as reality. It's like Mario designing and playing Pong while he could be throwing fireballs and make love to a princess...

Know what I saw? Traveling Nomads Van (professional gypsy talk about grifters)..it was aftermarket Army vehicle that can float..I never saw this in real life. Speaking of which, I wonder why they never hooked up with Trump?

My youngest brother has been dutch for nearly 25 years - right after he married a Dutch/Frisian hybrid. Diesel mechanic, not farmer though. Dutch people make up around 30% of the local population locally, with many of them business owners and farmers.

Your sentiments are shared regarding their behaviour. Dutch dairy farmers are terrible stewards of the earth. They cut down fence rows where small creatures live. They spread liquid manure several times in the winter on frozen ground, adjacent to creeks that empty into Lake Erie - causing algae blooms and no swim zones in the summer. Long list of bad practices.

He left school at 14. A previous Treasurer of Australia and Prime Minister of Australia. A reformist. He gave every working Australian employer paid superannuation. Arguably Australia's greatest politician. Respected around the world from the White house to Beijing. There's even been a long running musical about him.
He may be retired but he is still involved in todays Labor party.

When the Tea rolled in we were stupid to just tamp down instead of destroy; now look where we are + an impatient electorate who wants Joe Robb 'to make things normal again'.

I overheard a group at the park complaining about the 'presence' at 4th of July fireworks..the tension they cause.

I got a Lyft ride from a Native man who's bought into the 'Big Lie'..says AG rules politicking in Colorado..sad they built houses and didn't supply water system for them. He said Deb Haaland is a Toadie.

Just ran across this FPV drone sim with great graphics, sims save money by building flying skills cheaply. Racing quads are made tough and designed to crash, but crashes, modifications and repairs are a constant feature of the hobby.
