I blame the user. Fucking dipshits.

I wish there was still some small barrier to getting online. Bring back the modem. People are too stupid to have access to all the information ever in their pockets.

Blame won't help, regulations will and so will mindful schools.

Meditation is an exercise like physical exercise that results in changes in behavior and brain structure. This is backed up by science and it can help to counteract the effects of social media on youth by connecting them to their bodies, the seat of emotion. It has numerous benefits, all backed up by science and improves the performance of the troubled and depressed the most. Mediation (MBCT) is the number one treatment for depression these days, pills are cheaper and easier, but a practice addresses the root of the problem, our relationship to ourselves and others.

Now they know; my job mostly done.

Social Media is not real life.

America needs a new peoples party and a man like this to lead it

Take that right wing Liberals!

Unfortunately the way it's set up it's a two party system..you can have as many parties as you like but it's a two party system..though I oft wonder what our founding fathers would think about the UNCONSTITUTIONAL FILIBUSTER WHICH IS JAMMING THE SYSTEM.

We should play a game a few of us become Founding Fathers Discuss Filibuster but I don't think I'd have any takers. I imagine it would have been fun.

it's not a two party system, it's a however many parties as can compete system...the unfortunate truth is that there is too much money already invested into the two parties for a third to have much of a chance. if someone like musk or rupert murdoch or bill gates used their vast wealth to establish a third party, it might gain some ground. but, barring miracles, it would operate at a bad disadvantage for quite a while...

it is to them, who have never had a "real life"...
There was a definitive time: SMART technology which allowed access to internet (phone) and now you have the mess we have today- some people can't handle having information that quickly to internalize because they really don't understand what they're reading. When we had papers and 6'oclock news it was explained the same way on every channel and in every paper- op-ed was the paper's brain to get you thinking and if you wanted more you'd have to research. Now it's all word vomit and people under 100 don't really know what they're reading but they have emotions and act upon them because weaponization.

Everyone should know the Dewey Decimal System and how to operate a Microfiche.

Divisiveness is good politicking.

It’s only a matter of time something similar will become available for recreational use, replacing drugs that damage the body. 23 years from now it won’t even be special. Yeah exactly, if you watched Demolition Man you know what’s coming. After all everything you feel is just electric impulses in the brain. So what do you do then… right, you get high all the time, 24/7. No time to eat or go out so might as well hook us up on some tubes to keep us fed and in a constant high. Welcome to the Matrix. We won’t call it that though, we’ll call it Heaven.
