What sort of price did you pay for the light and hood? @angelicious
Is that you in your avatar? lol
But of course that's me! They used to dance but alas, no more.... :(

She better say yes, or her help from me is out the window (lol)
See above :D

Re the light and hood, the sale fell through, yer man in the ebay shop was just dicking around so I left it off. Looking at other sites now, if anyone has experience buying from Culture Indoor or Alchimia, reviews would be appreciated!

Culture indoors:
Lamp

What concerns me about this dual spec lamp is the kelvin rating, 21000k and 64000k. CFL's I've used in the past were 27000k and 65000k. Should I avoid?

DAMN i cant concentrate with pictures of boobs about.

That dual spec bulb would be my preference. Spectrum is just fine.
If you can stretch to 2 lower wattage bulbs are much better as CFL dont reach far.
You shoulda seen them when the jiggled, there'd be no hope for you! lol!! Cheers for the advice though.

I agree with buds.I've a 250w for veg n even then I pop em under the 400w mh to fill out their final pots before flip.
MH not an option. :( Gonna bite the bullet with the 300w and see how the first grow goes. Trial and error n all that!

Boobs are allays a welcome distraction. Whether they jiggle or not is unimportant.

I like the cfl's early on cause they are low heat and bright and fit hoods. My other option is office ceilling light hoods but I use them only for seedling plants. With the cfl you can go from seed to veg with a bulb swap. But they make me lazy and I tend to leave stuff in veg under low watts for too long and get stretchy plants.

Lots of choice in portables, depends on what you want from a portable?
Size, stealth, taste, convection, conduction, reliability, battery life and of course price.
My fave is the SOLO for indoors and the AIR for out and about. Taste and reliability is very good in these.
