I've actually come across this site but didn't think it was genuine thanks roobarb you've been a great help. Would you recommend I was autos ya? And should I bother with feeding nutrients Ive read that autos don't do well on them?

There gonna need something. Have a gander round the grow shop. One piece of advice - disregard the measures on the bottle. I usually start at less than half of the dose on the bottle and work my way up. Too high a dose will burn your plants.

Personally I don't do autos but I'm indoors. Think there is an auto section or thread on here somewhere. Might be worth reading.

Hello hello lovely Irish growers. It's been a LOOOOOOOONG time since I was here, but I'm ready to get my hands dirty again. I hope life is treating everyone well? :)

So.... I have 2 Blue Mystic AF that I plan to grow first but nothing started yet as I need to set up my wardrobe space, etc. I'm ordering a 300w dual spec CFL with reflector as I had a couple of successful single plant grows using a similar kit and a 125w dual spec. This time I'm hoping to grow both at the same time with the bigger bulb.

I plan to grow in soil, but I find myself boggled by all the info on soils, nutes, ph, etc... There's so much info out there, but a lot of it isn't relevant in our green country as the products aren't available so I'm hoping my fellow country people can point me in the right direction please? For those of you growing AF's indoors, what soils and nutes would you recommend? I think I used miracle gro previously, and the nutes I used were soiltabs and flowertabs from Nirvana. I'd much prefer to shop local though if I can.

Sorry if these questions have already been asked here but with a little person running around my feet and over 1500 pages, I just don't have time to read it all!

Much love and appreciation in advance

Good light to use in a closet, but see if you could hang 3 or 4 65 watt lamps around that 300. That would make a big difference. As far as soil goes, any good potting mixture will be fine (make sure you gravel your pot and add Perlite) something for orchids or even roses (I live in the States now, from Leenane/Galway) so I don't know what is available there. In a pinch, MG works so if that's all you got, so be it. Just a LITTLE though, and with good soil to start with, you could feed it once a week, and be fine. Every 3 or 4 waterings , give the plant a dose.
Good luck
