Yeah. But a little tip. Go to home depot and get you some 3/4" aluminum U channel. And some aluminum angle. 1/2×1/2 or 3/4×3/4 use the U channel for the heatsink. Then the angle for end piece to bolt the end of the strip to the angle. One on each side. Done. Better cooling than the baking pan.
Cool that’s easy enough. I’m gonna start off with 6 Bridgelux gen2 for the roof and add more to the sides once I get going.
Was looking at getting a Mean Well HLG-120 driver. Will this unit be big enough to add more strips too later?

Strips. And also mount some on the sides. For side lighting. I love my samsungs. So much that I'm building another one for my other flower tent. And right now you can get the bridgelux vesta strips on the cheap. 280mm for under 5 bucks. Or 560mm for 10 bucks. The 560mm would fit perfectly bc they are only 22.04", long. I'd just line the top and each side with strips. Run them horizontally. I'd put 10 on each side and some ontop. Mount the pans to the inside of the fridge then mount the strips to the pans. But bc youd be running that many strips. You could run them softer for heat. You have more sources of light. Or if money isnt ab issue for your build. Go with 1120mm samsungs and stand them up vertically on the sides. And 560mm on the top. They would flower the shit out of a fridge. Post some pics of it after you build. Be pretty cool to see finished up.
Well this is the fridge all finished up. Pretty happy with the way it turned out. I’m sure there will be a few modifications along the way.45785899-9F22-41BA-9DF0-5AB63C696F0D.jpegBD58C842-2BF1-40AD-917D-1381143756AF.jpeg

Super clean. Nice install. Kinda jelly honestly.
Thanks man! I’m so hyped! Any recommendations on a PAR meter or are they really nessassary? I’m still waiting on my dimmer so it’s running at 100%. I moved the light up a bit last night but what distance from canopy would be best?

Yeah get you par meter. You can download a cheaply lux meter from Google play store. They not super accurate but might help a little. I keep mine about 10 inches from the canopy. I run them closer after the stretch is over. And dim it a little. I run them super soft so my leds dont get hot at all.

I recommend ordering the 200 watt pre assembled vero from timber. Why you ask.

1. Because it works for me.
2. They don’t lie about coverage or wattage
3. Purple light is annoying
4. The small amount more money for preassbled light was well worth me not having to do anything. Even though I can mount lights to a frame I don’t want to.

I have a 2x2.5 foot tent with the 200 watt timber light in it. Solar and paleau td 100x fan cools it no problem without carbon filter. Especially with ambient below 20c

The dimmer is great yes when the plants are young it’s nice to be able to play around with intensity. Even though it’s mostly guessing what will work good.
