I know the amount of electricity doesn't matter because you're legal. But I'm just curious if running a generator might be cheaper because you're using sooo much electricity. Maybe it's a dumb question, as I know nothing about the cost of running a generator. I guess essentially what I'm asking is "How does the cost of running a generator compare to what the electric company charges?". Anybody know, or should I stop being lazy and just google it![]()
but ill still clarify for you....if it were cheaper damn near everyone would do it. as it stands it IS NOT cheaper by a sight. especially when you figure in maintenence time/cost, fuel cost, and you would have to fuel it every day(im REAL big on "time is money").
huge initial investment, but im convinced wind/solar is the way to go.
