      mr gr8!! been following a lot of your posts on mainlining and coco hempys because this is the method i plan on using for my first attempt at growing!! you do an excellent job sir. i was hoping you can give me some specific advice... i plan on growing 4 plants in 10 liter coco-perlite hempy buckets in a 3x3 tent under 400w mh/hps bulbs. my only concerns are...

        When I find the right clone I plan on doing a Scrog or a Sog, now I have the 4 plants not mainlined in the cabinet and the three in the closet. Way to many plants to fuck with, unless I had the room and lived in a cannabis friendly state.

        Training is the key, your going to have some FU's like broken branches, remember it's a weed, tape it up and move on. I prefer the 75/25 coco perlite or 75/15/10 coco/grow stones/perlite.

        Do not worry about over watering so water at least once a day and as they get some size I water morning when the lights come on and evening just before the lights go out. I have left them for up to three day but had some wilt occur.

      i got them on amazon. $40 bucks for a 1.25 cuft bag. they are similar to lava rock except they are made from recycled glass so no weird chemicals/heavy metals in them. its amazing how much they wick water up into the hempy. i was gonna use extra chunky perlite but i read about these and gave them a shot. is your ballast digital or magnetic for the 400?

        Rocky, the ballast is digital, it's a Sun Systems Galaxy 400, will do 250, HQI (?), 400 W lamps plus the 400 can be turbo charged 15%. Don't know why you would, really shorten the life of the lamp.

      I will def check out world of hempy. i'm going away from coco drain to waste and i have 2 hempys going now. i am using growstones (made in Albuquerque no less). they seem to be awesome so far. they hold more water and air then any other media and they are easily reusable. you not using the LED at all anymore? did you sell it?

        Rocky, can you send me info on locating these growstones, always looking for better material for my Hempy's.
        I still use the LED for veg and right now I have it in flower for the clones I took off the 5 Black Widows to sex them. I have the 5 BW's under the 400W MH.
        I am using 65/35 Perlite/Coco for my past two grows,
        I am almost one month into the current grow, and have pruned to 4 mains at this point.

        Rocky, I am on the Mainline forum, World of Hempy and the 400W Club.
        Come by and say hi!
        Have 5 Black Widow regulars growing in the cabinet now, just under a month. Have switched to a 400W MH for veg and a 400W HPS for flower.
        Hope to get up your way this summer, be cool to touch base with you.

      Hey, GR. My guess is that we live in the same state. I'm just touching base because I won a Dealzer grow box (35"x18"x9-1/2"), gearing up to do my first grow and want to mainline. Looks like you've been down this road, so if you could point me to any info out there, that would be great. growweedeasy is awesome for mainlining info, but there's a tag saying info on mainlining in a cab is "coming soon." D

        Hey buddy, I was going through my messages and saw your message, sorry I have totally missed this in the past.
        I hope your grows have been going well. I am no longer using the manifold method, no problems just want to try new things.
        Your box sounds a little small, but it is workable.
        Anyway, if you have info or need info, let me know.
