definitely a calcium def. looking into vinegar and egg shell solution. there's some sort of recipe out there that utilizes an acidic solution to dissolve calcium into a plant available form. probably the cheapest option and DIY tech.

ding ding ding! For $420, what is calcium deficiency.....alex?? Lmao i havent been using cal-mag at all since i been using molasses but appearently it could use some right about now. @ShLUbY Im interested in the vinager eggshell thing though, let me know if you find out more about that.

If you are using LEDs there is an interesting thread here somewhere that has been talking about LEDs and how the humidity can effect the plants uptake of calcium and mag and make it appear to have that deficiency. I personally thought plants grown under LEDs just needed more cal mag but after reading that I upped my rh and no issues this grow so far at all and have not needed cal mag.

i got a feva! and the only perscription is more CAL MAG! they are 5 gallon smartpots...
ahhhh yeah I would think with roots you'd want to go at least 7 gal if not 10. I don't believe those soils are made to be water only all the way though. I think most people start supplementing liquid nutes after a few weeks of flower

i put cal mag in my compost tea a few weeks ago but tried not to use it as much as possible because i know it can burn em with too much.next run ill probably hit em about week 5 with a little more cal mag. Just tiny bit...not too much.

I dont know if you have used the offer yet or not but if you go to the Roots organic website you can get a free sample of any of their bottle or dry products. You can choose 3 products and they do have a bottle calmag.

Day 49 of flower. Seeing some cloudy resin heads but no ambers yet. This point in my last grow is where everything went horribly wrong.

Things are going great his time around with a new understanding of organics and microbiology. I also aquired some good genetics. For the first time in 25 years im growing a strain that i actually know what it is, not bagseed. The distribution of seeds in this country has been exeptional these days and the genetics are strong.

I was like a kid in a candy store the first time i picked out a batch of seeds, there was so many flavors and effects to choose from and i wanted them all. I chose some fruity and skunky strains like "Fruit Punch, "Strawberry Amnesia" and also some old school flavors like "White widow" and "Chronic"

Those are a few of the strains i will be growing and documenting on RIU and IG. Feel free to follow along and comment with your ideas and opinions, i learn something new every day. If you have found what works for you, share it with others so we can keep growing and produce good cannabis together, thats my motto.20190406_084714.jpg

so i introduced a little more flux in my nightime temps to get a little cooler at night for the last couple weeks but it seems like the average temps havent fluctuated all that much, maybe 10° at most. The girl scouts are almost finished and smeling like thin mints and lime. Cant wait for the 4/20 harvest! pics up soon.Screenshot_2019-04-13-11-04-21-1.png

I saw a couple amber trichs so theyre well on her way to finishing :bigjoint:
