got my temp controller hooked up, bought a little heater and mounted a shelf for it to sit on. Its been super cold in my closet this winter and temps are fluctuating too much, down to 51° at one point so this should take care of my issue. set the heat to go on at 65° and off at 72°FView attachment 4290852 View attachment 4290853

the girl scout cookies are filling out good now. Ive been alternating my watering mix between an urb/seaweed mix and a molasses/seaweed mix every day. Increased my watering to 1.5 liters each without runoff. In the next couple weeks ill experiment with 2 liter waterings.20190306_191355.jpg 20190306_191421.jpg

I've been waiting for your update! Canopy and plants look amazing man. Careful with the molasses though. Cheers!

i see why its called pulse, its like watching the heartbeat of your plants! :) ive been learning about vapor pressure deficit (vdp). Its literally like seeing how much water your leaves are transpiring.when vdp is high and the lights are on the girls are drinking up the water like a soda straw, and lower humidity lets it straight out the stomata.Screenshot_2019-03-07-08-52-27-1.png

neat! one thing i've never really dialed in properly is my vpd, due to having a non sealed grow environment. i should probably work on that.

so the VPD value readout that it gives you, what value are you looking for ideally?
ideally i want the vdp to be on low end around 1.2 to 1.4 max,but when the lights go on the air dries out and vdp climbs to 1.8 -2.0. Its not a bad thing id say, but higher vdp will cause more transpiration and accordingly more water uptake.
