Its just a peat heavy medium. You can and should add nutrients. If you are gardening organically, there are premade soil amendments like foxfarms and dr earth but soil building can be done manually with peat as the medium. Keep in mind these amendments are meant to supply nutrients over time by creating a healthy soil biology.

If i could cook a batch of soil right now using your pro mix, the best stuff to add

1. Biochar
2. Perlite/rice hulls/ pumice
3. Bloodmeal(if youre careful)
4. Bone meal
5. Vermiculite (helps peat take up water without soap)
6. Alfalfa meal or kelp meal
7. Seabird guano
8. Worm castings

layer all of that stuff together and consider making a bacterial tea to get things moving in there. I use rain water to dampen that mixture, but just use a water that has a neutral pH and dampen it.You could periodically feed this soil mixture with a tea but it will probably grow a plant through flower with plain water. If you see deficiencies, then respond as necessary…

i use very little bloodmeal like 1/3 of what the container suggests. So id maybe put 1/4- 1/3 cup mixed well into your 7 gallon pots.

Basic rule of thumb is 3 cups of fertilizer max per cuft of soil ,7.5 gallons.

So if i was to keep my recipe simple using this number it would be 1/3 cup blood meal and the other ingredients equally divided into that fertilizer mixture of 3 cups. So approx 2/3 cup of bone meal 2/3 cup alfalfa meal 2/3 cup worm castings 2/3 cups seabird guano. Add that to your 1/3 cup bloodmeal and you have a perfect 3 cups of dry fertilizer ingredients to layer into your peat and char and pumice etc etc

Worm castings don't count as fertilizer,add10- 20% by volume of EWC to the soil.So 6.5 gallons promix 1 gallon ewc sorta thing.

Both alfalfa and bloodmeal are high N so back off on blood and replace with kelp or bone.

That is the worst promix to use for growing weed imo
well i mixed the organic promix with the moisture control promix and added perlite , bat guano ,and flower girl also a bit of lime and a hint of bloodmeal in 7 gallon pots plus 2 small bags of better home and garden potting mix the perlite is mostly on the top as a reflective layer i have clones rooting at the moment plus 2 other plants i am going to put in actual soil so i cover my ass lol

That organic promix compacts hard and becomes hydrophobic. You can pour water onto it and it just sits there
I realize that now but I will have to make due maybe use a skewer to poke holes in it I have more clones if I need to scrap the whole idea I will it's just my mentor who has about 100 grows or more and I have seen them personally told me that's what he uses on his outside plants I guess I will wait it out thanks for the input
