Had a lot written up, decided to share this;
Pics, I’d have to dig it up, but I have a great pic from ~3 weeks into bloom. AC died, high temp relay failed, plants thoroughly cooked. Fortunately, not one of the larger rooms.

... After that, I really had a hard time taking any significant time off, for fear of the worst possible outcome. Had to, so did. I ended up traveling most of that year, due time. Returned from a 2 month trip to total devastation. Every text, every phone conversation, everything told to me during that 2 month period, was complete bullshit. I returned to find 99% of my shit exactly as I had left it, whether it be hood, cloner, pot, or veg VS bloom. It was the most epic super fuck, maybe still is the most epic super fuck, that I’ve ever heard of. Best I could tell, just enough water had been thrown on each to keep them alive (though many had died, all babies had root rot/dead roots). All that survived were those that I had personally just transplanted before being hospitalized the night before hopping on the plane (pneumonia from crazy schedule), and those were barely clinging to life. Luckily, my entire strain index (at the time) was covered. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. Those “few” had to be brought back to health and grown to the point to “feed” every grow. Too long to continue the story in detail, but the next two rounds of cloning were “undermined”, and sourcing clones was more of the usual bs. There was a silver lining, a new “keeper”, and still one of the best, was discovered (circumstance, I believe I’m the only one that has her), the “Mystery”, “Flor de Cana”. Amazing flower. Had pics here, but now fucking Photo ripoff Bucket wants money to allow 3’rd Party hosting. Can still get them back, time.
One extremely hot summer prompted me to alter the light schedule of a room (from daytime “On” to daytime “Off”). That was all it took to make that “Mystery” plant throw bananas like a barrel of crazy monkeys (that prefer banana tossing to
Shit flinging). Innumerable seeds, innumerable weight “unsalvagable”. Super fucked, but I kept thousands of seeds of “Mystery” x HPK/VOG/BOG/Purple Kush/etc. Read somewhere that a known breeder alters the light cycle mid bloom to expose and eliminate stock from the breeding pool. Sensitive, but damn fine flower.
Anyhow, shit happens.
