wut up don?

im gunna say to use the pk 13/14 BEFORE the shooting powder for sure. it will keep your buds swelling after they are usually done doing so.

the shooting powder works well, i personally suspect it works so well because of the unlisted PGR's (plant growth regulators) but i have no way of knowing that for sure.

i know u are in coco like me so if you use the shooting powder then you arent supossed to reuse the coco like u have been doing because it is very hard to wash out and effects the next crop.

H&G makes a PK 13/14 too... its called top booster.
It is exactly the same except for top booster has a little Iron added to it and i think Canna is straight PK.

IRIE MON! cheers jberry man thats what i wanted to hear! i put my first dose of pk into the feed mix last night, a low ish dose to begin with.

thanks for the heads up on not re using, luckily i picked up a couple of 50l bags when i didnt actually need them so im good for the next run. rep ya when i can man!

sounds like you're talking about H&G nutes. shooting powder starts at week 6 (in an 8 wk flower) so pk 13/14 (which i believe is canna) will be week 5.
thanks for the input fella! i posted in general and got like 60 views no replies hahaha knew i should have been in the advanced pot fiends section

PK 13/14 beg of week 5, use only once, then plain water flush, then shooting powder beg of week 6.
Cheers Doc!

What's in "shooting powder" that gives it any merit? Yeah, I've read the sales pitches and the anecdotal evidence, but what is in this stuff? I know it's not regulated.

pk 13/14 is a brand name of canna's. top booster is h&g's version, i've used canna's pk 13/14 with h&g's coco a&b with no problems. just remember to reduce the base nutes when adding temporary supps. i've used most of the h&g coco line, i really like the stuff. i've also heard that humbolt nutes have a tendency to adhere to the medium.

If you don't what's in it, then why buy it? Because of an ad from an old hippie turned super capitalist pig, or forum chatter, cause "everyone is using it"?

These snake oil salemen have this community all figured out regarding its psychology. They are also able to get around the law which governs ag products because it falls into a non-nutritional category. At least that's what I understand about U.S. Agricultural Consumer Protection rules. Correct me if I'm wrong. Try to find a MSDS on this stuff, you can't.

Look at my avatar. I challenge anyone using snake oils to be able to match that plant. It had a 5" wide cola with very chunky side colas that were rock hard. The only thing it got was Walmart food and common botanical sense.

I like to test products side by side using several plants before I start giving advise about how they DO or DON'T work... Otherwise your just speaking from "feelings" and obviously have no actual experience with the product.

so the sachet arrived this morning and as far as i can tell from the ingredients and the npk its just a massive dose of p and k 0-39-25 no surprise though

says its derived from polarised potassium and natrium compounds, potassium sulphate, potassium carbonate, potassium phosphate and natrium sulphate.

im not up on the science but it sounds to me like a beefed up powder version of PK13/14.

Speaking more generally of the H&G nutes, what concentration of Coco A and B are people using during an 8 week grow? Top Booster and Shooting Powder particularly send the ppms way up.

im running at 5ml per litre of both A & B with canna boost in there too tho ill probably drop down to maybe 3 per L of each when i use the powder
