12/12 Day 27

Any guesses on the which CJ pheno I have? 8 weeker or 10 weeker?

Last round I pulled off about 40g from 1 OG, i had 2. This round I only have 1 OG and the goal is to pull of 50-60g from 1 OG. I been training my self in the training department, and I think I did a better job with training the OG this round, I moved the longer main stalks to the sides of the plants, all the smaller side branches are in the middle to get loads of light.

This one is my fav CJ cola, as this is my second grow, I didn't know any of the strains got this frosty by day 27. Before I started growing I was reading in a book by I think Jorge or Ed saying not to worry the trichromes will usually appear around week 5. Thanks He3d Seeds for making such killer genetics with the CJ.

Here is the nute line up that I am currently using which I posted earlier.

H&G Cocos A/B
Hydroplex
Cal-Mag
Liquid Karma
Hygrozyme
Roots Excelurator
Great White
Molasses
Silica Blast

I have a few other nutes on hand, any suggestions on if I should add any of these or replace them with what I am running right now.

Bloombastic
Bush Master
Snow Storm Ultra
Fox Farm Solubles (Cha Ching, Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz)
I am curious about the great white. do you mix t wth your coco? I have been thnkng about adding it to my line up.

Oh and dude, TLD got banned man. He got into it with a mod and they banned him. Sucks man, he had so much good info and experience to share all the time and it was always a trip to read his poems and such.

welcome jester and thanks for clearing it up cheezy.

for ur case raider, GW injection directly in coco would work best.

since i make fresh mix every time for feeding, I just add it to the nute mix.

Although it is ok to add greatwhite in tank for hydro organic grows, but it will settle quickly in the bottom, even with an airline if it isn't strong enough.

Hey guys since, I have been back I haven't seen TheLoadedDragon, where the devil is he.
Yep, TLD banned himself via FDD. He still drops in on your journals though bender420, and is glad to see you have returned as he had wondered what happened to you.

Any mention of a desire to get in touch with him is honored by some kind of response or representation of him.

He still checks in on your journal too Westy, always trying to smell your cheese.

TLD is now on www.skunkskool.com

Thanks guys for clearing this up.

abetterworld thanks for dropping by and letting me know all is well as I have been ill and away for a bit so I was just seeing what happened to TLD, good to know it was at lead a ban and not anything more serious like health and law issues.

"I push it hard to determine what the max is for each strain, using organics with lots of bacteria definitely help from getting burned as the organics have to be broken down by the bacteria before the plants eat them."

would'nt that make it harder for the plants if it has to wait for all that bacteria to break down the organic material? not taking a shot at yah bro just curious. i love the structure of your buds and the frostyness of the buds on day 27!?! how do u do it? see this is the type of speed i expect to see with O2 pruning and coco as a medium. i think that is going to speed things up but i cant find a thread on it so i feel like im taking a huge risk. im also gonna try subcools supersoil because i do LOVE organics.

if TLD is out there i wish him luck and im glad i started posting with his hommies. i have been on this site in the shaddows just chillin and educating myself on diff styles and i have to say TLD did some amazing things even in the form of a few words of advice to some of the best smoke ive seen. TLD this ones for you:leaf::bigjoint::eyesmoke:bongsmilie:leaf:

Bro I could go in tons of detail about the organics, but there are people out there who can explain it better. It would me much more helpful if you could read a few articles on growing with organics.

Here I will kick start you knowledge to how organic nutrition for plants work.

http://www.gardenscure.com/2009/01/04/growing-organic-weed/

As far as how I do, I am no expert or anything like that, I just follow what many people taught me and from reading unbiased scientific papers on growing various fruits.

Just pay very close attention to every single detail I could think of, such as picking the right genetics, good nutes, constantly observing plants to look for various issues.

I don't use CO2 but I have decent airflow.

There are many schools of thought out there, K.I.S.S, although people who follow the kiss philosophy get much more stable results, as not much experimenting goes on, but I am very different I end up thinking way too much and making shit way too complicated sometimes, but hey it works for me. To each their own, just find the right cup of tea.

As for TLD, that mofo definitely had his way with the pen. he could turn a bullshit situ in roses with his words. i must admit he grew bomb shit, but for me his words were very inspiring.

12/12 Day 31

bit nute burn and light bleach action, both i like because i know i just crossed the max threshold for the nutes and the lights were as close as possible.

I will back down to 1.8-2.0 from 2.2-2.4.

today I am feeding 1.7 with at least 20-30% runoff. I went almost the entire last run without a single runoff without any major issues, this run i aim to get run of weekly to keep the pots fresh.

I am playing with lost of manual setting on the cam, definitely click on the pic to zoom in, and feel free to critique the photos, may be even toss a tip or two my way.

OH yes I am switching to bloombastic. I was using hydroplex from day 18 to 30. When I was using dutch glory line, my OG was way way more frosty by this point.

So I know there is better stuff out there then hydroplex for sure, I am certain hydroplex won't cut it for me as the only PK booster.

I got some bloombastic samples. I reckon it is 20/21 PK vs 6/10 PK for hydroplex. Many people are raving about bloombastic, now I will see find out for my self what all the bloombastic fuss is about.

Also it is weird but bloombastic actually raised my pH from 4.9 (after adding the base) to 5.9 where as the the hydroplex would drop the pH to ~4.0 requiring me to use a hefty bit of silica along with a good bit pH up, which i don't like doing that much.

hey bender thanks for the link it was a great read. i have been reading a bunch on organics and i think the supersoil from subcool is def a posibility. i was thinking 3 plants in coco and 3 plants in the supersoil and well see how it goes. good luck with the bloombastic!

btw the girls look amazing! that little bit of nute burn makes the plants look finished but i think you got about 2/3 weeks left right? it looks like theyre going to swell up any second haha

most of my organic knowlege is from subcool but if you have any more links ud like to share, i love to read! haha and if you would like subcools supersoil recipie ill give you the link (if you dont already have it)
