OUR military power doesn't matter

That's cool, bro. Its just that you did bring up that Iran-Contra thing and I still don't see the connection. As for other countries, look around you. Well, I don't know what you would see so don't do that . Pick up a phone and call customer service. Try to talk to someone from America, if that is where you are, its so hard to tell with this interweb thing and the series of tubes, and all.
Point is it is a multi-cultural Global society and Blackwater, just like Toyota, is multinational, too. I've worked beside good men from Columbia, Panama, Argentina, Lebanon, and that's just off the top of my head. Global travel is not uncommon and hardly evident of anything except a global economy.

And if you disagree with me...Smoke another joint:bigjoint:
I find it amazing that you see no problem with employing foreigners to fight OUR wars :wall:

Not to mention they don't follow standard military rules of engagement. As for the Iran-Contra connection, well that should be rather obvious the CIA has been pouring money into the same Para-military groups for years. Now that the Mexican cartels have seized control of the drug trade a lot of those groups were 'out of work'.

Well you know the state sponsored terrorism type work?

PS- Toyota does not kill innocent people in foreign countries last time I checked. :peace:

Forgive me, I still don't have control of this whole quote thing. I am confused about that foreignors fighting our wars. Are not Blackwaters operatives doing security work for contractors and such? They ride patrol and provide protection to the people who hired them. It is not clear to me that that was DoD. You might have documentation otherwise, and I would be glad to see it. perhaps you have a breakdown of military versus civilian positions held by Blackwater employees, or operatives if you prefer.

As private contractors, BW does not have to follow rules of engagement, otherwise known as the cuff and don't let fight rules of engagement.

There have not been contras in years, and the Iran connection just isn't there, pal. CIA spends money all over the planet, this proves nothing nefarious, except that the CIA likes to interfere.

I only wish I knew what state sponsored terrorism it is that you think happened.

Sadly I do not.

You are either severely mis-informed or morally bankrupt.

EXACTLY.

It's a technicality that the Republicans have used. Bush's private army. Cause that's what it is. A Private army that can be used indiscriminately to do the nitty gritty little things the U.S. Army can't 'legally' do....

I am apparently misinformed. Srory. My neglect. I certainly will look into this.

That being said, Jeremy does seem to hang with the liberal crowd. Not that Blackwater is a necessarily good thing. I don't have strong feelings either way. I guess what I don't understand is that this is apparently a niche book and has not really received any vetting. I suggest something like the 11 AP reporters that were assigned to fact check Sarah Palin's book.

Oh yeah, when I saw that Jeffery was on CBS, ABC, NBC, PMSNBC, and then the king or left wing, NPR, I truthfully groaned and said, "I knew it. I saw it coming." But you know what really cut it for me? It was that he was a correspondent for Bill Maher. Really? Bill Maher? No more credibility than Rachel or Keith. The guy said Americans were stupid, and needed to be dragged to something or other. He cited as an example China. Not a real Braniac there, I am afraid. Not improving this case with me.

I am a deep and sorely conflicted man, can't you see? I sometimes don't know myself.
There is a consistency in my stances and positions, although, I admit I sometimes see the apparent contradictions myself. That said I guess I play Devil's advocate a lot and debate an issue for the fun of it. I do not obfuscate my opinions. I will not knowingly state a position I do not believe. I might be muddled but I muddle through.

Onward through the fog...Oat Willy :bigjoint::lol::sleep:
