View attachment 1025269This is my OG Kush at 1 week and 3 days Veg. My closet has been getting really hot still, despite the fact I "air-cooled" my 250w MH, the temps now when the door is open 78 degrees and when its closed it tops out at 103 if the door remains shut for the whole daylight period but usually gets up to around 88-90 before I open the door again.
View attachment 1025273This is a Cataract Kush that's in the same closet getting the same treatment and it doesn't look half bad.
+rep for help

If you could give me any advice to get it even cooler that would be greatly appreciated. I was just a little worried about the droopiness of that one but if it doesn't seem too bad to you then I won't stress too much over it. I really would like to keep the door shut more than I do now without that much of a heat buildup. I have one female getting close to done flowering in about 95 degrees, but I've heard that anything over 90-95 and the plant wont grow? What is the highest temp that would still allow the plant to grow normally.

I'd suggest trying to move your exhaust fan next to your light so it pulls the heat out immediately and maybe pull the light up 6". Also, the overall quality of OG will be better if you can keep your temps under 75.

I'd say move the light up abit and blow one of your fan right on the light bulb (hot spot). If your lights on 24/24 and your able just keep door open for now. work on venting better when in 12/12 cycle. I hope that helps some. I also had some heat problems. I changed light cycle to the night time so while lights where on it was much cooler outside ,hence it was cooler inside.

Looks like adjusting the ventilation or modifying it could help and move the light a bit farther, what kind of fan you got in that ducting? try to get fresh air to blow on the plants and then out the exausht.

I have an Ecoline plus 4" Inline Fan Booster. Do ya'll think that the Glass panel for the light should be removed if I have the fan pointing directly at the light because if not wouldn't the hot air just be circulating around the room. And, I am working on getting the fan booster attached right to the reflector.
I think that when they switch to Flowering it won't be near as bad. The light is so close to the ground now that the heat has nowhere to go, once it starts moving up I think the temps will gradually get a little better.

Do you have a hose on the intake side of the light? Cant tell from the pics. If not then hook a hose up and and run it to the top of the closet. Let it draw the warm air that rises so it can be exhausted.

One OG Kush I have is sensitive to heat, that is the SFV OG Kush cut, then the other one RDC OG Kush cut is not, as a matter of fact she is doing fine outdoor/indoor alike. Heat is the key though that is what mine looked like when I pushed 80F all my other strains with enriched C02 did fine but she did not like 80F in veg at all. But if you get the heat right and the leafs always moving you will see how fast she will grow.
