My humble little grow in Colorado.

Yeah, I've never messed with a cab before and I would say I have certainly learned a lesson. You learn more from the failures that's for sure. Going forward it should be good.

Thanks for the compliments. Like the thread it's my little grow.

Hey, Bubba. I know you mentioned trying the UB Topping method. I have to say so far I'm a believer. You can see my little NastyNugz Very Berry Kush has two very distinct stems now. The plant responded very well and very fast just like the Uncle Ben thread said it would. Pretty cool really.

Looks like you just doubled your mainbuds, excellent, hope to see 4 main colas develop.

A nice update of the my NastyNugz Verry Berry Kush. It’s going to have four mains after the little topping. I’m STOKED. I also started germing some East Coast Farmers Auto Pink Diesel seeds for round 2 of my little cab grow.

I think it added maybe a week. I'm still learning this method and impact on the plant but so far I sure like it. I spoke with the breeder and he said this strain really likes to branch out so that I'm sure helped with my success at the topping.

Bubbagineer , I seen your post where you ask Huel about his DWC system , I love his system and his plants show how good it works , I guess your interested and you said your gone at times , I looked at the fact that I would have to check the water level , nutrient level , and Ph far to often so I converted my DWC to an auto system and could do all the checks outside the grow box at one location and it works cool . I connected each bucket in the grow room to an outside water reservoir by a one inch PVC at the level I wanted the grow buckets to stay , and have a pump ( on a timer ) in the reservoir with a water supply line through the PVC pipe so it pumps in and overflows back, real simple to add water as needed to the reservoir and check nutrients and Ph
Just food food thought .

It has been a little while since I updated this. In that time frame I built a little cab, stuck a few plants in it, killed a few seedlings and then pretty much destroyed my NastyNugz Very Berry Kush when the intake got blocked and it spent two days in there at 110 plus degrees. Well I have since babied that little thing and it has returned to the living. I'm also going to be harvesting my Nerdy Pak soon (will post pics later), and I have included a pic of my Golden Nuggets Baby Cough and East Coast Farmers Pink Diesel seedlings. They are going to hopefully make some seeds one of these days.

Four mains after the UB Topping.

Coming back from the almost compost pile. I had to trim a LOT Of burned leaves off.

My fun little breeding project. Hopefully continue down the line with these two little autos and keep plants under 12".

The VBK looks good bro. I wish I would have known about, and had the huevos to use, UBs topping trick back when mine were young enough, oh well. Next time definitely! I'm stoked to watch those autos grow. Are they going in the cab with the cfls?

Also, I know you're a pepper guy.... how the hell do I get pepper seeds to start? Nothing fancy, just cali wonders and italian bells and jalapeños. I've tried twice now with jiffy peat plugs... I hate and am pitching all things jiffy as soon as I'm sure no seeds are going to start...

How much can a 12" auto yield?

I will be trying the UB Topping method again that's for sure. I have to give props to my little VBK as it's one tough little plant. It isn't very full or huge as it went into complete survival mode after it's little stint in the cab from hell but it's still trucking along. I would like to try the topping on some other strains as well just to see how they react.

The little autos are under my T5. The cab is mothballed right now until I make some changes. I've started changing gears a bit and just picked up a brand new little Hydrofarm Mini-Sunburst 150w HPS for $60.00. That's going to end up in a 2'x2'x5' tent with a 125w CFL. That should be a MUCH better operation for the little autos. They won't yield too much but if you have six going you can get something to smoke. I'm growing this batch just for seeds right now though.

The way I germ my peppers is to soak them for 24-48 hours and then stick them about 1/2" deep into some Happy Frog or Ocean Forest. I will usually plant about 5-10 into a little 3 oz. plastic cup with drainage holes. Once they get a little bigger I will transplant them into larger pots. They should pop in about 5-10 days. If I have seeds I really don't want to lose I may soak them in a weak Chamomile Tea. The tea is supposed to help them germ but I think it mostly helps me relax. :D

Things are getting exciting now!!! Pink Diesel Nos. 1 & 2 are boys, No. 3 hasn't shown sex yet. Baby Cough No. 1 is a girl and Nos. 2 & 3 haven't shown sex yet. I'm sure by the end of the week I will know who exactly is going to be in on the orgy when I finally set it up. :)

PD No. 1 - BOY

PD No. 2 - BOY
