I was told to go see DR Ayres! The only thing is getting my records from my normal doc. I have told her about me smoking and how it helps and she does not agree! She say's how it is just like cigarett's and it is bad for you, I just counter act with I don't smoke I vap and she shut's up and shakes her head. What should I say to get my records without it drawing attention?

you have a right to your record for free every year.Your doc has no need to know what you want your records for.Just call the front desk and tell them ya want a copy of your last 3 chart notes and them go pick them up or have them mailed to yer house. Then mail or fax them to the clinic.
We've seen more and more doctors coming on line for medical can but it's still slow going. We have several new clinics opening around the state so keep to the mmma site for new info.
Hope this helps

Great info.

VV is right, they had some conflicts in the law, so it had to be changed.

Read it and find out the truth, rather than live in fear.

A friend of mine is setting me up with a Dr. that is pro-mm, so I'm happy right now.

I'll probably be a provider for his wife, who has MS.

My neighbors are cops so I will still have to be carefull.:peace:

The officer was quoted in the paper the same day the meeting was suppose to take place, so I didn't go.

There seemed to be a missunderstanding, about what the meeting was for.

Police thought it was going to be people connecting to buy and get seeds and stuff like that, from what I heard.

I think there is enough info on line to avoid all that B.S.:peace:

there is a group of people that meet in the state to help inform possible patience and it made the news with an officer stating " the nerve of these people we should bust the meeting and all involved".

wouldn't that be entrapment? And as long as you don't have anything on you unless you have your card you should have been safe! Why don't they go after the drunk's and the child molestor's and leave the smokers alone.... My neighbor is A fireman and he has A better than thou attitude, I can't stand the jerk. That suk's on who your neighbors are.

This was a meeting to inform people who haven't gotten their card yet, on some of the legal aspects of getting a card and what it allows you to do.

The police apparently thought it was a gathering of pot smokers, who were going to make comnnections for buying and selling.:peace:

Yea, it should keep getting better here.

I ran into a friend with a masters degree in horticulture, who's really up on the new law.

He said he would get me the paper work download and that he knows a Dr in the area that's "friendly".

I saw in the paper today that one of the cities in S. MI. is opening a section of their business district to the kind of MJ clubs they have in CA. At least that's the way I understood the article.:peace:

What is talked about at the club's? Can you legally order seeds if you have your card or obtain clones from some where?

No, you can not legally order seeds, it is impossible to stop you from doing so, yes, as a Card Carrying patient it would be possible to legally acquire clones. Many of these type's of things are discussed by members of the Compassionate Care Clubs. NOT during the meeting, all of the MMMA affiliated club meetings are open to the public. What people talk about in private after a meeting is just that, private.
The discussions at the clubs will keep everyone apprised of what is going on around the state, maybe some recipes, discussion of health related issues and how cannabis may help for certain diseases. how to add illnesses to the list of approved conditions, etc. More educational and political in nature, less about growing. Check out a club in your area. VV

Yes, discussions of different strains, past the usual indica, satavia comparison so often quoted, are appropriate, exchanges can not take place 'at the meeting'. PeanutButter has done a lot of research on healing dis-eases using hemp and other topical oils. He recently held classes for Caregivers, private classes, not part of the MMMA or the CCClub. $75.00 for the all day class, lunch was included, had four people in class on Friday, and was expecting 8 on Sunday. Yes, you should get involved, get 'legal' then pay it forward. VV
