just keep everything in jars curing they cant count it if it is in the drying curing stage. it takes awhile for it to become totally dry.just make sure it is labled and away from usable product. work the system lol
I also read that on the Michigan gov. forums...If it's jar'd...and still curing, it's not technically "usable" marijuana.

This is a area of the law that clearly needs some clarification. The other area I feel it is flawed is in the definition of a plant/clones. 'Incidental stalks, roots, and seeds' are covered, so taking a cutting and throwing it in the trash is fine. But, if you take a cutting and put it in a medium, now it's a plant? That just doesn't seem right to me. The law should at least be clear enough to define when a clone is a plant.

There needs to be an addition that clarifies this, such as 'a clone is considered a plant when it has 1 inch roots.' that would work fine for me, but currently it's way to hazy.

ok i hope this doesnt come across JERKY but you guys are not reading the law. lets not do anymore passing of info that were not 100% about. feva keeping it in a jar means its now dried. otherwise it would be in the open air. now that being said please read this excerpt from the law......

(j) "Usable marihuana" means the dried leaves and flowers of the marihuana plant, and any mixture or preparation thereof, but does not include the seeds, stalks, and roots of the plant.

curing is not a loophole to having more weight. the only thing you can do legally with the overages(anything over 2.5 oz per patient) is sell them or concentrate them to less weight(tinctures etc)

someguy, it needs to have roots. you cut a clone put it in dirt and you still have a few days before their actually concidered a plant and can count against you in your plant count. its not very hazy tbh, make it simple in your head like this ....if your allowed 36 plants then only have 36 pots in total and then your not going over.

i hope i dont sound like a wanna be know it all or something. i just spend alot of time studying it and i want it to be widespread info.

Correct me if i'm wrong...but aren't you also allowed to have enough to so you don't run out? Seems like i read something like that...like you can keep enough to sustain you until your next harvest or something...i can't remember.

That's for affirmative defense which you have to go to court to be able to use.

oh ok, i can guide you in the direction of both patients in need with their card i hand and/or dispensaries with open wallets, their always on the market for quality meds.

pm me whenever your ready. it may require a short drive but if you sell 2.5 zips, one trip get between 500 and 1000 prolly worth it for ya. also theres one in traverse city and marquette i think too so you shouldnt have a problem regardless where your at.

I guess I didn't realize I could legally get rid of it like that...definitely going to have to do that. Thanks man.

dont just take my word for it.

(k) Any registered qualifying patient or registered primary caregiver who sells marihuana to someone who is not allowed to use marihuana for medical purposes under this act shall have his or her registry identification card revoked and is guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 2 years or a fine of not more than $2,000.00, or both, in addition to any other penalties for the distribution of marihuana.

that tells me that a patient can sell to a patient, we call it a patient to patient transfer (p2p).

but then theres this ...

(e) A registered primary caregiver may receive compensation for costs associated with assisting a registered qualifying patient in the medical use of marihuana. Any such compensation shall not constitute the sale of controlled substances.

that doesnt mention patient can recieve compensation.

ok so my bad back sometimes needs an oxy-

my girl goes to the little family owned pharmacy in town and picks it up for me(normally when i need it i can't drive) =no problems

so now i'm legal don't wanna drive so i send her to a family friend for medicine and she gets pulled over on the way home does she have some type of immunity from prosecution of posession for legally obtaining my meds
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
also i keep having dreams of starting a dispensary-
not a normal one where 2 guys charge exorbitant prices for grams of meds but one where prices are fair and don't discourage non maurijauna users from its viability
i am also intersted in the exchange of the rest of the plant and it's cousins, globally there is a nice market on hemp fiber and that aspect alone could make a greenhouse profitable
greenhouse/supplies/meds

p.s. sub'd

you need to sign her up with the state as your caregiver and then no more problems

May I ask how exactly you stay in the limits? I think I am a bit confused on this part you see my father has recently got mmj card as a patient and I am his caretaker, we are confused on how to keep the legal limit of 2.5 dried ounces if we have our 12 plants it seems we will often have more than 2.5 ounces of dried bud - is this extra bud supposed to be destroyed of? LoL - seems not to make much sense - it really seems to us you are almost required to break some of the laws in order to stay within the new mmj laws - it is all kind of silly.

can have constant supply by haveing 4 vegging 4 flowering and 4 hanging equals 12

I thought that a good idea as well but will only work until the cop pulls out a lighter and shows you how burnable and usable it really is to be totally honest
