Javadog's Next Adventure

BTW: I am tasting a Skywalker OG Kush sampler today.

Very sticky! It burns like hash once you light it.

I am convinced now that these will be my best buds so far.

If I had let my AK-47 SOG go another week or two, it might match this.

The leaves are turning on the PB-BX and LA Con. We are still looking
toward the weekend. (I have to stop myself from just hanging the
LA Con every few hours....fuck! LOL!) It is ready right now. Last
night I saw almost no clear trichs....weird, as I saw as few ambers.
It was like 5-90-5 %-wise, but maybe really 10-80-10.

Have a great day everyone. Wish me luck, as I found a target for
a resume sending.

good luck JD

>> also you hope you got the pledge pheno, wether its boy or girl....

i see you are having an issue with run off....if you can mount them on a table, about 10" or less from the floor, and can find a sutible water catching decive like an underbed storage tub that will fit under your top table.....all you have to do is drill a hole in one end tilt the table with a small piece of wood/ cardboard etc so that all the water will flow to your hole.....you will water it will come out of hempys, onto the top table, run down to the hole then go down into the storage tub beneth,,,,,

you can then either remove storage tub and keep emptying it, or if your lazy use a hydro water pump to pump the water out off the catch bucket as it enters,,,,,

any help?

Thanks for the time LK.

I got a whole pack of PK. I will keep popping until I hit lemons. :0)

I got Jack The Ripper in the meanwhile, but simply *cannot* pop
anything else until the tent is clear, freeing the Veg closet, thus
freeing the clone/seedling table.

The problem with a riser is that I am sure that I am going to need
all of my headroom. Even if I deal better with the stretch, then I will
benefit from more headroom --> with my headroom I find that the HPS
gives better coverage and that I can position my Kessils optimally.

LOL, my current best answer is to just pony up the fracking $50 for
nine of the gigantic saucers from Home Depot. (Supchaka got them
just previously and put them onto my radar)

I also got a hand pump from Amazon. It has a 5 foot long siphon
and should be able to drain the saucers pretty well. I may pour some
strong H2O2 in them to keep them clean.

Oh My Goodness!!

IMG_2156.jpg

Blam!

I have no photographic skills, and cannot do this plant justice,
but I will try again when I chop it in a few days.

I did confirm that LA Confidential was done, and I have taken it.

I will have more photos to post soon.

Take care,

JD

(thanks for the good word BW!)

P.S. Here is one good shot of the LA Con bud:

These buds have very.....flowery...scent. They are sweet and funky, along with
the standard stinky smell. This one is going to smoke good!

Thanks bro. I did take a clone. Whew! I was considering, seriously,
letting this one drop away. The honest truth is that the smoke is decent
in strength but the taste was unusual. My best bro loved it. I expect this
pheno to be only better tasting too, as it is certainly much stronger and lovelier.

The yield from this crop is going to be fine.

Man a cutting of that would be awesome!!

I wish I took a cut of my GDP x BB, but I flipped to flower shortly after getting the clone so she was small.

I would LOVE to share this.

Pap and I have mused on this. There might be a hook up of
some type (obscurity intentional ;0) in the future. I must get
back into the tech world by years end. Please send your good
will that way. If I can keep my boat afloat, then all other good
things will happen.

I wanted to post the shots of the PurpleBerry that I have.

I have to reiterate that this was a breed that I had a great
deal of hope for, but was not too impressed with previously.

Well, I learned a lesson, when I popped the last two beans.

I got one very cool triploid plant. I mean that it had three
Cotyledons, the seed was in three parts inside the shell,
and it made three baby leaves, and every branching made
three branches. Too bad that it was male. The other turned
into the lady you see above.

Here is the only shot from when they were young:
02 PB-BX.jpg

...but here is the shot from Week #2:

You can see that after topping it a few times that I just let it go wild.

Take care,

JD

Heh heh, no argument here.

I love plants that grow strong with lovely structure.

LA Con was one of the best for this. My AK-47 was similar in this regard.

The buds stacked up with a very pretty "Pagoda" look.

I very much look forward to smoking this one.

This is one of the fun parts about being a big pig who cannot make his
mind up when starting a grow....I end up with many different things to
enjoy.

Take care bro,

JD

I have heard good things about the Purple AK.

I hope that I can coax some strength out of Purple Wreck too.

It strikes me as either weak or finicky. It probably wants a soil
change for more air to the roots or something.

Onward and upward,

JD

I havent grown AK47, but Whodat's images of past running it show crazy colas!
Definitely the vigor came from AK side, but kept enough GDP traits to smell taste and effect like a purple still.

Trying to understand TW genetics, sounds similar to that on NL maybe??
depending on pheno you could get some great growth I would guess.

Not sure how you get nl from tw...i think the growth structure begs to differ
The Train Wreck is a combination between Mexican, Afghani and Thai genetics.
http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Trainwreck/Homegrown_Fantaseeds/

[h=2]AK-47[/h]2nd place in the Best Sativa at the 1999 High Times Cannabis Cup
Sativa-dominant hybrid
Origin: Unnamed mix of Colombian, Mexican, Afghani and Thai genetic lines
Ak-47 is strong, sweet and fruity. It provides a balanced experience that is good for appetite stimulation and muscle relaxation.

Anyway I was wrong, NL isnt right after all.
I read many possibilities NL could be and some include Thai and afghani, but not mexican.
I think I was confusing it with AK, must be why JD mentioned this as a comparison to the Purp AK...
