It's Raining!!

I woke up at 5:30 this morning to the sound of rain.

This is the second light rain we've had in my area (Southern CA) and I am in the midst of staggered harvesting.

Two weeks ago, it rained and I had to fight powdery mildew (learned on this site that hydrogen peroxide kills that on contact, and it worked). Simultaneously, I found bud rot on the largest cola of my oldest plant and lost all but a few clusters.

I am tempted to go outside when the rain stops with a blow dryer!

Thought I'd ask the experts here before I risk electrocuting my (stony) self.

yea its been raining here too alot, but only light rain, im going to harvest tomorow im not too worried about mould because the conditions right now would probably prevent mould.

Ha, funny. I was letting my plants get rained on in the early stages of life and they were loving it. They shot up a node after every hard rain. Had to deal with the milky residue, yellowing leaves as a result... :-/

Thanks for your input.

Yesterday, I went outside and shook the excess off each plant. I did notice a couple of colas that gave me concern, so I harvested those early (just the tops).

Keep your fingers crossed!!
