pictures are from yesterday! Week 5 day 1.
For those who care about picture quality.....
first picture, no flash...
second picture, is with flash, but i forgot to change the White Balance from 3500k to "Flash".

I got to take a picture of all the plants except one before lights out, and its my favorite so i guess it will get its own post.

any who.
they are doing great. i feel like they doubled in size... they are suffering a bit from a Cal/Mag deficiency but it seems to have been resolved with CaliMagic... things don't seem to be getting worse.
GH says i should use CaliMagic every time i water? Should i use it like they say? I have never used it before.

Enjoy the pictures!

This IS a chocolate haze plant by royal queen seeds. all 4 pictures..
this is going to look like one big bud when it's done.... i have a feeling it is going to need some extra time..
from the start this plant didnt even look like a cannabis plant. and now its showing deficiencies but only on half of the plant???? what?
its nice to look at though.

Looking so good! How much longer until harvest, ya think?
According to the breeder... 8 - 9 weeks for red dragon and chocolate haze.. 10 - 12 for laughing buddha.
So... between 3 to 5 weeks total, left.
Only 3 of 8 have hairs that have started to turn orange.. so... I'm leaning towards 4 - 5 weeks..

I got 5 free auto seeds on my last purchase... so they will be next! I am very very excited for them.

WEEK 6 day 2!
First set of Pictures are of Red Dragon.
These plants are pretty uniform except in smell and trichome production.
2 of them are covered, while the other is not.
2 smells like very much like lemon sours.. very much like candy.
the other is... lemon-y.. but its kind of woody as well..
I'm sad no pinks or reds came out..

i watered all plants with fertz for the last time today. all the plants are starting to show deficiencies.
some much much more than others. the buds are all solid. i'm very happy with this grow.
Side note for size reference.
All of those bamboo sticks are 2 feet tall.
the heights range from 13 inches to 25 inches.

Next up we have Chocolate Haze.
These plants smell like dirt with a hint of some kind of fresh melon.
2 of these plants have twisted leaves and are showing "lots" of deficiency..
I personally don't think they look THAT bad..
Their buds look great...
1 of these plants has been my shining star of the grow. no problems. all green. no deficiencies. has more of a melon smell.
and is my tallest plant because it has 2 colas that just couldn't be held down like the rest.
this was the pheno i wish they all were!
but its cool to see the differences.

And last but not least. Laughing Buddha.
This is by far the coolest plant i've grown. I love the colors.
these 2 plants have very few green leaves left on them. the buds themselves have tips of purple on them
The smell is hard to describe.. it smells hashy. strong. maybe spicy? i'm not sure. i can't pin point its smell.
I LOOOOOVE LOVE the colors..
I'm not going to lie.. this is the plant i thought was having N problems!
when i gave it a little extra, my guess is that it prolonged the color change a little.
I'm also going to guess these plants have 4 more weeks or more, to go..
So i will continue to feed this plant.

The very last picture is a "group photo".
The first 4 are strictly Laughing Buddha.

Plants in these pictures are of all 3 Red Dragon plants at week 7 day 1.
i'm going to let all plants go 9 weeks+. i will start harvest at day 64 or so.
they are getting fatter and fatter. the next to weeks are going to be exciting.... for me at least.
I'm very happy with these plants.
This grow was an over all "easy" grow aside from the 3 plants with the worst of the deficiencies, but they are still doing very well.

The Red Dragon itself stayed nice and bushy/uniform, has a smell like sour lemon candies.
nice FAT buds. Took to training very very well.
I don't know if its because of the leds..
but 2 plants have buds that are much much more frosty than the others that are much more dense at the same height, BUT ON THE SAME PLANT??

can some one tell me why? they seem to be getting there but it's just something i've never seen.

Side note for me...
Not using flash looks nice but takes hours.

Chocolate Haze..
The light green might not be a deficiency but i know the rest is.
lol these buds are rock hard though. all of them are dense. but i feel like these are the ones on this plant are the most.
the one with the the twisted leaves has the "biggest" buds. none of them smell like chocolate.
the tallest and most green is the frostiest of the 3 and has no problems.. it also has nice big ol' buds, but they aren't as close together. and it is also starting so show a very small amount of purple.
Im trying not to repeat myself..

here's the 2 Buddha plants.
week 7 day 1.. still cant really describe the smells..
i guess one thing i can point out is 1 of these plants are fall colors from 50% up.
however, ive had to take dying leaves off this one as they are about to fall off by their self..
the rest is green. 10 weeks is the estimated flower time so it has a while. it does look like it has a while.
The other plant just has very little of the fall colors. still nice and fat and both look like they are gaining.
I have not had to take much off of this plant since the end of week 4.

thankfully they are not. i took macro pictures, and 3 out of the 6 pictures i posted are from the LB plant, and aside for purple tips and the beautiful colors, the plants are in good shape.
unless of course, if it is deep inside, but you wouldn't be able to tell from the pictures i've posted.

thank you for your concern though.
ill be harvesting 2 more and posting more pictures later today. so i will find out!

because i have dealt with mold before, i now do not hang up my buds to dry... instead of having those giant fat buds, i cut them up and put them in a hanging herb dryer..

the stuff that has been dry enough to smoke has been very satisfying...
I don't feel like going into detail here...
enjoy the pictures.

First Chocolate Haze plant got 53g.
First Laughing Buddha got 48g.

Goal weight for all plants is 450g..

Why? Did you determine cob was performing better?
i personally think so... they were pretty similar, though. which... how similar they were, for less cost per month...
i will use the cobs at half of the watts for the same or more yield.... i almost got 1gpw.
with 600watts hps last grow i only got about .5gpw
