I think it needs to be passed by congress, which is liek 65 or 75 percent yes or somthing like that. I dont know exactly. Whats yoru new state??

Don't believe it will happen in our lifetime.

It may not be federally legal any time soon, but hopefully the DEA will be kept out of Cali

It is a shame that our beautiful plant is illegal. Imagine that. A PLANT! Its nonsense.

That's just not the way it works. Federal law and individual states' laws are entirely separate.

Maybe you're thinking about the process to amend the constitution: a 2/3 majority in both the house and senate and then ratification by 3/4 of the states.
