Well bummer I don't have much interest in this side by side now. Least you don't have to pay for your lights.

What if I sold the lights for the same price, warranty, return and all that? Would you then buy them from me?
Serious question, btw.

I'm not HGL. I've never called the cops on anyone. I also don't work for HGL. If you return a light to me, I don't have a problem with you. I have gotten free lights from others, I actually paid for my overpriced HGL old tech. But, if I had known there would be a fucking entire overhaul, I would have waited, lol.
I bought the lights because I was way curious about the spectrum talk, not just HGL's spectrum. I didn't want to look at old threads from someone's grow I had never heard of before. I wanted to check it out for myself.
At least for my sake's the spectrum is the same in the 84x just way less efficient.

I was sort of in the same boat. Just a few months after I bought my QB boards a newer one was released. After seeing people who bought the newer versions pulling nothing spectacular Vs. the 'old' lights I don't think I'll upgrade these LED's for a few more years if ever. I would need something that ran half the watts and gave the same results and I don't see that big of a gain anytime soon.

I would definitely take one of the TS or SP Mars lights over anything from Cammy.

Realize that with exponential growth in lighting technologies new and more efficient products will constantly be available. That doesn’t make efficient lights any less efficient. That is the nature of this LED market.

I run mostly COBs with some white and white/red Cree panels that are 6 years old. I bought the best could at the time and they still kick any other tech to the curb. My newest COB fixture is 3 years old.

Nope.Would rather hand my money to a crackhead and watch them smoke it all up than put it in HGL's bank account.

So you are absolutely not interested in spectral advancements? Nothing new really, just new to us.
Is it Cammi you dont like or the possibility of potential from the products vs what the majority now think is better? Remember, it was only 5 yrs ago there was major debating over white vs. Burple.
HydroGrows spectrum & existence has been shielded from most of us fir a decade, leaving the first 6 yrs of that to the Burple shit show companies that have given RGB a bad name by tossing together random R+B only with cockeyed ratios, poor designs, components & even worse, less then honest service.
So now that A Founder & originator pops her head out the woodwork, you rather chop it off then find out the True Deal Behind RGB???
IMHO, Plain white led light has created problems & debates for growers whom need to "dial in" just as bad as the AlibabaBurples, which at least you know you're buying junk. With white you either win or lose, strain, medium, nute dependent. The quality of the diodes should be the last thing white boys worry about. I've had tremendous success with one plant under white while the one next to it shits the bed. (Prior to learning prep action "dialing in") with burple they veg great usually & flower like fluffinbutter.
Now you have rGb with a spectrum in which has a reason. One that was even broken down for everyone here to take advantage of. Info on Chloro uptake by nm's & The majority here just swiffed it off like it was nothing. LMFAO!!!!
Closed minded is like being a Brick.
I'm in NO Way biased. How can i be, only day 3 of flower.
I don't speak nor recomend lighting unless I've used it.
Just curious as to why hate is being spread on my thread when there's obviously one made just for that? Hate is NOT scientificly related to the grow & has No place here.
Is it that the guys doing this have no respect for me personally? Is this a Hybridway hate type thing???

Wowzers! Here's where the Trinity shines bright.
Cranked up to 525w, 28" off canopy is a fairly even (over the plant) ppfd of around 900.
The x4 , 84X's are throwing varying #'s around the canopy ranging from 250-680.
Approx. Head average id guess at 580 ppfd maybe 600 over the canopy.
Remember, this is canopy ppfd's not the 4x4. One plant is about 1' shorter around hence keeping the readings under the big board.
Eitherway, there is low spots in the middle of the hgl plant dropping to 350. Ill have to slide them a lil closer & sacrifice the edges more. She did tell me they will barely cover a 4x4.
Now, we all know about the density of enhanced white buds. Especially high ppf buds. Hopefully i can keep flowering #'s over the HGL plant or i just may wind up with fluffy bud n i wont know if its from spectrum or lack of light density/ ppfd?
Not gonna jump to assumptions, just talking aloud..
We'll see i guess.
