That is the Sanlight spectrum.
SANlight_Spectrum.jpg

Is it really so much different to yours?

HGL spectrum.png
Do you really believe you trump that with the diodes you guys have used and your lights are worth the same?
A fair test would compare both sides btw at the same wattage not at the same intensity. Set up this way even the baddest am4zon blurple can keep up with the most efficient.
But tell me, what use has a "better" spectrum when you waste +100w more energy to create it?
Do you really want to tell me your parts are worth more like 100$. What drivers are inside? 90% of the parts are cheap OEM parts, at least, housing, heatsinks, drivers, ... None of them have you created yourself. I'm pretty sure not even the PCB's are assembled locally.
And when Cree and Epistar use the same die's why the heck are your's so much less efficient?
You only try to make your low end product looking better and you try it on the costs of others..
Efficacy and efficiency are both important factors for a growlight. Again, what use has a "better" spectrum with more efficacy if you need much more watts to create it?

In the end we will see which side has won and how much energy was needed ..

Yeah, when an advertiser resorts to name calling "Scammie" it's pretty much a shit-show. That's his response to calling him out numerous times for making claims he simply can't back up. Meanwhile I back up my claims with scientific studies and facts. And yeah, I gave away free lights to hybrid (total scam) and those lights are currently growing plants faster (total scam) than HLG... So umm, who's the scammer? The guy who's been lying to you about white lights and conning people into spending hundreds of thousands on them, or the person who gave away free lights and is beating HLG in growth? Hmm, let's ponder that. Because to me the scam here is selling people on the belief that full spectrum white is efficient. But I'm done for now. Got tired of watching a bunch of misinformation being spread on this forum with people blindly accepting it rather than questioning those posting it... Like the blind leading the blind around here.

Ok this is too funny. So you send me to a thread by a random forum user, who's math you don't even comprehend. You then begin asking questions of this user because you don't know the information he's presenting. You then ask how you can make your product better from someone who is not a manufacturer or developer of products... This further proves my point that you don't have a clue what you're doing in any regard. A manufacturer should know more than the consumer. A manufacturer should be able to teach the consumer, not the other way around. But shit, you don't even have a heat sink on your product! You preach efficiency and could care less about operating temp. What a joke.

But thanks for once again not providing anything to back up your claim... Just more worthless jibber jabber from someone who loves to make up facts when he's not being questioned. Your white LEDs are lucky if they're putting out 1 umol/joule in the green region, and yet the majority of light in that region that you are emitting has less than 5% absorption by plants, more or less rendering it useless... Once again proving how little you understand about spectrum or plant science in general.

Well let's see those sphere reports with 2 umol/j green LEDs. Besides that's not me I have one account not multiple....... You have called me a "coward" and basically a liar on multiple occasions. I guess I got fed up with it and just called out the truth. I'm not ashamed of my past.... How about you? Also, my lights are popular because of word of mouth and real world results. You can make graphs and assumptions all day long.... Real world results is what counts and all you have to do to find them on our products is simply Google quantum board. 1000s of reviews. As I've said I have nothing to prove here our products have spoken for themselves countless times. I'll get the exact numbers for you on those greens. Its about 1.1 umol/j which basically validates my point.

Sorry you can't understand the mathematics but it's really quite simple. You take the QER which is how many photons of light a particular spectrum will produce at 1 emitted watted and multiply that number by the radiometeric efficiency. In the case of the Osram SSL green its 25.6% efficient at 350ma 55c. Running at more real world numbers of 700ma it's even worse. So 25.6% of 4.3umol = 1.095 umol/j BEFORE driver losses. So going by some of your math being 40% of our spectrum is green and the efficiency of our light is 2.87 umol/j at system level the numer is 1.14 umol/j in green. Thus making my statement valid and 100% true. I can make green at better efficiency with white and get all the other light for free vs NAME BRAND green monos. The funniest part is I also said 70cri was better at making green which again is FACT. If I used 5k 70cri that green number would easily be 1.4 umol/j + in the green only range. To sum it up for you I could filter out all the other light on the white outside of the green zone you specified and still have more light than a high power green mono would produce at the same power consumed. The green numbers I provided don't count driver loss ~6% or PCB loss of 2-3% which is all accounted for with our numbers.

I'm glad your light can Veg...... The real story is in flower.......As I've said before GOOD LUCK.

Why is her IP not banned. She has managed to turn every post about her lights into a shit show. Almost to the point, that who gives a single flying fuk about her spectrum. I mean you can lead a horse to water. It's up to it if it drinks or not. If someone pays the asking price for the garbage shes putting out. They deserve the light.

Theres another thread specifically for this kindve talk. If Cammi shows up, let her n Stephen debate. We stand to gain allot more sitting the sidelines & watching with our mouths shut.
That whole 2 ears n 1 mouth saying.
They don't need any of your comments. Are spectator commercials aloud in a debate? No influencing either side.
Driving, no time.
Other thread .

Oops I didn't realize. @hybridway2 if you would like I'll delete my posts.
Nope. I encourage You & Cammi to discuss your lights, views/opinions & facts about the tech.
Preferably as Professionally as possible.
But if it gets hairy its a 1 on 1, uh, debate.

Id like no commentary on this thread from others unless its questions/comments about the grow or questions about the tech.
Thnx folks. I know its hard. I've been there to.

Professional Debate is good. I want to see the results of the grow

There is a same post with same user name on IC..
And some sucker even bought that light..
It's like telling that regular bulb for house is better than led..

We All know WHAT Quantum boards can do...And you can make drawings of what ever you want!

The final weigh in on this comparasion will be bigger than the game of thrones finale

Let me know when hlg wins this thread isn’t worth the read
Its worth the read, i just didnt go to school long enough to make sense out of any of it. Im a simpleton. Pink light is really annoying to me. Id take a - 0.5 gram per watt hit just to never see one of those ever again. That being said if hgl were to win i may purchase a 10 year old china light off alibaba. For now my hlg qb120s reign the best lights ive ever run.

Edit:didnt finish my opening sentance
