I was going to ask a few weeks ago if they might be fruit flies.
Fits the pattern.
Fruit flies fly higher and can be caught more easily near the lights the reason you had success catching them with (sticky traps not pest strips right) near the light.
Fruit flies make more sense, they will fly in your face and hover at the mid level of the plant where gnats tend to stay closer to the soil.

Do you have a worm bin or fresh EWC bringing in fruit flies?

Fresh EWC can also be a reason to have the spider looking things that walk on the edges of pots and in the soil. They might be harmless mites if they came from EWC.
No, i wish they were fruit flys
Theres EWC bagvin the other room, was kept in same container but in its own bag as the coco being used. Mmnnnhh! Good point.

what's happening here, hybrid? doesnt look too healthyView attachment 4382013
I had something that looked a lil similar last round. i put it down to a K deficiency due to a savage PH drop while i was away...im still not certain.
Wicked ph problems dude. Plus i think i burt them a lil on one feed as i see a tiny bit of tip-burn .
They're healthy, just not perfect.

No, never, with good gardening practices and healthy plants you should have little trouble indoors. If you do it's almost guaranteed it's you or someone you've let in your garden that carried them in.
Ok then, well, im not perfect n somehow i got a root bug. Idk how as i do my best to practice the best gardening i can with the time i have. Big gardens are not as easy to keep up as little ones you know? I'm a one man opp with a fulltime job & kids.
Not fully automated yet either.
Getting there.

So what have i strayed from being consistent & symmetric?
Its a grow. During any grow lights are raised or lowered. During any grow if your light doesn't cover you slide it over.
I even went as far as to treat both plants for gnats when i only needed to treat one. Hence causing the same issue on both
plants equally. Not to my best interest, yet done out equallity & fairness to each company.
Why, do you or anyone else think they could do a better job? And what would you do? I'm sure some could have narrated, took videos, talked more, but why dont YOU telll me from all of your experiences what i could've done to make this any more equal???
Aside from causing disadvantages to my overall harvest. I want both lights to do the very best they can with what i have given them to work with.
Idk about you but i dont see to many 20-27 oz single plant side by sides going in do you?
NO, oh well, then how can you even imagine taking care of a whole room of them all the while being poked at by a bunch of know it all, hollier then Thow, 3oz , 2x2 , tent growers & NG's. You guys think all the same rules you use apply in a room hu? Nope, there's a lil more to it then what you read in the "GrowBible" .
But it's comforting to know there are sooo, so many here that could've or can do such a better job! Its just to bad they were to chicken shit to step up to the plate cuz then maybe you super-Pros might then be happy... n couldve taught me a trick or two.
PussyAssMu-Fu run from real side by sides, afraid to see the truth or be the one to post the news that lets people down or gets them excited based on whom ever Dick they ride.
Peace Posers!
How bought you send your free lights to someone else to try a side by side after this unless you just did this for free lights and don't actually care about learning.

A plastic coin holder to catch a bug and a cheap digital microscope and we could identify both bugs.

Like this cute little critter that was caught and released because it's one of the good guys.

Everyone here should own one of these. I picked one up about 6,7 years ago. It helped me identify broad mites. It was a year of me loosing my mind trying to figure what the issue was, picked one of these up, and the problem became abundantly clear. You can get one for super cheap now, 30-40$. After all these years mine still works , super gunked up, but still works.

I think they even sell these scopes that are wifi. I might have to upgrade.

Why dont you chill out. Hes putting in time, and even if you or I dont like the way he does it hes doing what was asked and in return he gets some benifits. I'm SURE he would have yielded more just keeping on with his normal routine.

If your upset you or someone you respect more didnt get the free lights, well this wasnt the first light give away and it wont be the last, so just wait for the next one. I've been offered free lights a few times but my refusal to take photos or provide a address puts a damper on things.

I don't think I said anything unreasonable. If he wants someone else to try an do a better job like he said in his post. Why not give them the same opportunity to use free lights like he did or was he saying someone should buy lights from hgl to do a better side by side? I was trying my best to assume he wasn't being a shill

I think hes just a guy testing a product, well 2 products, and many people dont like how hes doing it. I'm one of them, but I dont give him a bunch of shit all the time, a time or 2 I have but in general I'm just following along waiting. My opinion is pretty well set that hlg is far an above the more efficient light. But if the rgb can be made as efficient and work like claimed then that's great.

We all know you dont give 2 shits about these shitty rgb lights, Nd are hoping he sends someone, like you, the nice hlg boards.

despite problems..he is doing ok and the test will show something

..that photons make things grow...

and more photons make things grow more

and that there may be differences in the quality spectrum and colour temp of the diodes...

but there will be not great differences in the quantity produced

if the photon count is similar...

nawwwwww, they're not....we have very different opinions on healthy aha!

Is this on the blurple plants too?
Yes. As ive said several times prior to this grow & during, i am still dialing in led to CoCo with my nutes. Unfortunately i did not grow perfect plants in this multi-strain, multi-sized plant grow. You may have that sort of time but i did not.
Ill try harder next time Hoss.

Have you considered using blumats Hybrid. I have only recently started reading about them. You seem like a busy guy dealing with grows and life, maybe a blumat system could help you deal with the time management, and with dialing things in better.
