I have a 2x4x5 tent.

want to run 1 or 2 plants.

will 2 Hlg 65 be enough to veg and flower?
HLG 65
No, they are recommended for 2x1 at most for flowering so two would be 2x2, you would need 4 of them for a 2x4
Looking at the $99 price tag it would be cheaper and perform better to going with a v1 260w kit for $279

2x hlg65s would be ok for veg, but you can just dim the v1 260w kit to 50% for veg, for multi purpose I would go with the 3500k or 4000k

I use a 90w qb on 1 plant. Get around 3 zips per plant. Mine is a tad more, its in a proper space and I got a ton of experience. You could, maybe, pull an oz off one plant with that. Need to contain the light and train it properly. May not b worth your time, in the end

yea they’ve worked great for veg. I’ve used them In the past to veg Then transplanted to a bigger tent with 2 600w.

starting back up a little sumthin and wondering if I can do without the 600watts at all to keep it cheaper on the electric.

Not really trying to but thinking if the (150$) hlg 100 v2 3000k will make flowering work

Should be able to get the 135w v1 kit for that price though.

This is the right answer. I got a few of these too and they work good for flower. Closer to $175 though.
I couldn't actually see the 135 v1 kit on the site, the 260w v1 kit was there, had to extrapolate the price :D
But I know they have the v1 boards so I think an email to Stephen would sort it. Don't see why he wouldn't .

$64 for the v1 single board and heat sink, just need the driver, I imagine you folks over there are looking at $50ish

(plus a bit of wire)
