HLG 550v2 - VS - Alibaba light

Intellectual thieves can always provide a similar product at a much cheaper price, when you don't have to recoup development costs. This model is not sustainable, if you want to support innovative thinking and help move progress forward you will have to spend more money. Thieves and cheats will succeed in the short term, but when they drive out the true innovators, all you get in the end is diminishing returns.

Sounds good, I’m all for a little competition to motivate people to keep going and innovate further.

No harvests yet, this is the very first run with the new LED set up. I used to run 1k hoods

headed outa the country tomorrow for a week, getting all the last minute things done before someone looks after the pup home and garden.

The list never ends only seems to grow.

Two sets of areas, the tent is the perpetual veg area and the room with the panda paper is the flower area.

Good things happening. not stoked on the stretch but with 90’s during my night cycle ( daytime ) not a thing i could do.

welll very sad mews today, got back from Cabo to find my flower room destroyed. not enough water, dry leaves my hearts a little broken to be honest.

Looks like i’ll be starting from scratch tomorrow.

Don't mean to rain on your parade but it was probably for the best as I was struggling to see the point of this grow as it does not appear to be an apple for apple comparison?

I lost a whole closet crop to pm, after months of work....... Went on vacation, came back to a total shit show. My fault for leaving the exhaust on low, lesson learned.

No biggie, just start over....... Could have bigger problems in life.

Thanks for stopping by! If you read the first couple pages it lists the strain and lights.

Still have two tables of Hades OG under two different lights. One HLG 550 v2 and one mejiu light from alibaba.

Both have the same HLG driver....

lol this guy - I can tell you right now the Alibaba light is easily holding its own if not out performing based on my par meter and just looking at the plants. I’ll post dry weight.
