Any mountain loins up there?
Do you mean mountain lions? They have them in this state. I haven’t seen one myself but I know other people that have. A few years ago a mountain lion attacked a mountain biker in the North Bend area and killed him. Can you imaging having that beast jump on you with those claws , dig into your skin and tear at you as well as sinking those long sharp claws into your neck while biting you to shreds with those teeth? What a gruesome death. There were a shit load of them in Colorado. I use to see piles of deer bone’s everywhere. That Colorado deer sure must be tasty. I have been told they scream a high pitch haunting cry at night . Sounds like a screaming women or somethin.

Awesome trails! I'm in upstate ny in the adirondack park. Biggest national park in the US. Had a heart transplant a few years ago, that just made the wife and I hike even more! Now it's doctor's orders. Lots of waterfalls

The Adirondacks are amazing. My wife and I are both 46r’s and hike there quite a bit. I grew up in the area and finished my first round in the early 80’s. My wife just finished hers last year. Daughter also a 46r. Good times in the woods. I toked up on the summit of Marcy last year - highest dude in New York at that moment!

Beautiful lake on top of Crain mountain. Not sure how many of the high peaks I've done up here over the years. Always new places to discover

The one I saw had long hair off the tip of its ears like a lynx. It easily weighed 275-300lbs. Strolling across a field heading to a dairy farm like it was making a dunkin run
