Hilarious...... Amen Brother CFL's from bean to bud.

They are at like 44 days into flower. Probably got like 3 more weeks to go. I am planning to give them Molasses for the next two weeks and then flush for a week.

hey buster, u have any 45w? if so, did they put out heat? im thinking about framing like 5 right by side eachother in like a 10''x20'' reflector kinda.. have them mounted on the sides long ways accross and use like 1''x6'' boards and frame it together, think they;ll produce heat to make me wanna use an air cooled reflector instead?

No i don't have any 42w cfls. I have basically 6 22w and 2 15w. And that is way less than i would have used if i had been able to get them. But as long as you do some selective trimming of the right fan leaves that actually block other vital parts of the plant. You can take advantage of the available lumens that you have.

5 45w(2600 lumens) in a 14''x27'' wide space thats kinda smaller then that due to plastic and mylar comfortably put up on the wall...
so, will those 5 45w lights put out heat over my tops, the idea is to keep the cfl's as close as possible, how close will i be able to keep these lights from my plants?

225w total/ 13,000 lumens in a 2.3sqft growing area....

yo buster, the 8x42w cfl, where they like hot? to the touch and to the plants?? should i make an air cooled hood for the 6-42w i have or its not that hot, cuz i wanna put the cfl like 2'' from the tops so this way there getting all 2600 lumens per balb right there you kno, even though reality they wont get all 2600 of them more like 2300 due to the 2'' distant lumens fade..... but what ever.. what you think...

All i can say is try it and see. I would say that it would be pretty easy to use a setup of 8 42w cfls. Just have to keep an eye on the temps and that is pretty much it. If i had a bunch of the 42w, i would definitely use them instead of the ones that i have now. I would say that 8 of the 42w would make the perfect light setup in a small closet. Give them a try and let me know what you do.

ok but should the hood but vented for my 6x42w lamps, or its not that hot? i mean, i;ve never used 42w b4 and i have only 2 right now, and they get kinda hot, like the temp reads 85' with the thermo like 3'' below the bulbs.. so should i make a vented hood for my 6 bulbs or not needed?

Yes, do whatever you have to. If it needs a vented hood than that is what you will need to do. Good luck.
