I really don't think cutting your plant during flowering is all that stressful... the only bad thing is pruning, because it leaves your plants without the nutes stored in leaves...

Plus, cutting the older buds before the younger ones may be stressful, but until harvest (another 1- 1&1/2 weeks) your plant won't get any chance to hermie or react to the stress.
