Thanks man, :) i will leave her another day and then i'll chop her. What about giving her 24 hours of darkness before chop? I'm interested in your opinion also :). And i don't get something, why doesn't have amber trichs? This is why i'm hesitating ... maybe someone can explaine me.

Cheers!
i think that is ridiculous.

some strains trichs react differently. i had some outside two years ago that turned amber after about a week of forming. the whole plant was amber triched 4 weeks into flowering. it just kept loading on new growth though.

you can't focus on one single indicator when it's harvest time. you have to look at the plant as a whole. you have been watching it's growth you should see that it has stopped growing. it's over all appearance will be "ripe". when it's done, it just looks done. :weed:

personally i always cut all the big mature buds and excessive leaves and leave the rest to grow for an extra week or two. pictures of the whole bud would make it easier since we cant really see trichs in the pic

have you been flushing? looks really green. there is some new white growth as well. it almost looks like they would push out another growth spurt if you flushed them really well. i may be changing my opinion here. :weed:

I'm feeding her only water for aprox 4 weeks, so i guess she's flushed. What do you think now?

wow, they look so green. um, shit. i'm in the air. white hairs mean new growth. :|
So i guess i should leave her a few days more to see how those hairs are changing, and maybe the trichs will do the same, i've heard that they can change their color in 2 days... should i wait?

Yes, wait a few more days. And do try that 24h darkness thing. In my exp, it does have a nice effect.

I'd suggest cutting any buds that are finished and the adjacent leaves... but only if they're ready!

Well, today i've managed to get new lenses for my camera and i've took some pictures from a bud leave. I can see amber trichs, and i think this bud is ready. What do you think?

This is another leaf from another bud. Do you think this is ready?
By the way, i've cut some buds, dry them quickly and smoke them with my friends... and i must say you, those buds are among the strongest (and i've smoked some good weed). so i'm very happy :weed:

the buzz is still there after 2 hours :)

you have to look at the trichomes at the calyxes not the ones on the leaves. you don't smoke the leaves. :)

Which trichs usually turn first? I thought I read on here somewhere that the trichs on the older leaves start turning first. Is this true?
