Looking good bud
Believe it or not, I'm slowing down. With the move the tent is now empty. Won't need it again until I pull clones of the Northern Lights. Really interested to see if the plants in 2 gallon pots do well.

Looking good mate
Thanks!

I keep hedging towards smaller pots, but this is to see of the 3 gallon should be the lower limit. I figure that if I can get 5oz out of a 5 gallon plant, and 3 out of a 3 gallon, growing 4 2oz plants gives about the same yield-wise, but there is less "oh shit" factor if one plant goes sideways. I could easily fit nine 2 gallons in the closet, but then it's a shrub nightmare in late-veg and a hassle in flower. But 4 2gal if they produce enough would have plenty of room.

The flower room is crowded, the big one is browning really slow - which is good because she's not fat yet.

And whoever is spreading rumors about not vegging and getting bountiful yields is full of it. Side by side, 2 clones taken the same day, one flipped 18 days ago with basically no veg feeding, one today. The flowers on the little one aren't popping pistils like mad, getting fat, nothing. Even the leaves look like miniatures

She is now a thriving failed experiment LOL

@CrystalWildFlowerz Here's a little of my non-weed-growing growing. Spent about $50 on green-house roofing and screen, and everything else was supplies I had on hand. Nothing is attached to the house except on the facia up top, so It can be removed if needed later.

Maters and peppers, with a few herbs for cooking. The tomatoes are all stuff you can't get at home depot. Bumblebee cherry, purple and black cherry, heirloom brandywine beefstake, Black Krim (looked good online) and San Marzano Roma that should be amazing! LOL All grown, harvested and eaten while HAF! :) It's my job ma'am, it's what I do LOLIMG_8089.JPG IMG_8086.JPG
And eventually I'm thinking a small auto or two might end up among the peppers :)
And no fires in the fire-pit until I find a place for the herbs.

I did some math. I could live on peppers and tomatoes. You cannot buy good tomatoes at the store. Farmers market? Yes. but it's a hassle. So I grow tomatoes. I either can them or freeze them if I get too many. Herbs is about the same, having fresh green onions or basil to snip into your gravy is nice :) Basil actually grows like weed, where you can top it and two sprouts grow. And I have a dehydrator as well. For the herbs and the veggies.

But peppers are different. They store well and if you get them at the store fresh they are fine. Actually more cost effective to buy them at the store. So my peppers are "Non-jalapeno/bell/poblano" I can get those relatively cheap and fresh ;locally. I have Anaheim's and "honeycrisp" bells that just sounded good.

Lmao!
I know Jack Shit about opium; nor the growth, production, or consumption thereof. I know that cities have poppy festivals that have nothing to do with it. I am leaning towards "you wont get high" but who knows? Hashtag - don't care! LOL

See that's where things are so whacky man, this isn't about getting high. That's a state of mind by today's society that folks embrace .....opium addiction is using substances to escape reality IMHO then after awhile just to be able to move they have to injest because of physical addiction.
If u have 6 points of pain and take 6 points of medicine then there's no "high" .....I guess there's folks who see substances as things to abuse ......I see them as medicine. At the end of the day the only difference between medicine and poison the dosage.

And I think that regardless of the medicinal or recreational properties of ANY drug, chemical or natural, Weed is the least harmful IF abused. Meaning, you can't OD. It cannot kill you. Homegrown opium or store-bought Percocet cannot make that claim. Even tobacco and alcohol can't make that claim.

And I see there being a valid argument for it being attributed to Alzheimer's or dementia, but that shit is already happening in non-users so there is no way they could prove it empirically. I do agree that it effects brain development in teenagers. I think about 25 is the point at which most brain development has stopped (matured) and that use after that age will have much less long term effect that use before that age.

Manifold time!
Well, not yet. But the nodes are there. My plan this time is to get rid of the unwanted sprouts, but leave the fan leaves unless there is a problem, instead of stripping everything. I also want the top big enough to clone on it's own and try another manifold. I am waiting to take SOG clones until after I manifold and I get some with fatter stems.

The red and orange shoots will eventually be gone. The yellow one "may" be the keeper. I will wait to see how they look as it gets bigger, and may take keep the node above it. All the instructions are vague about whether or not that seed-leaf node (red) counts as #1.

With this succession of grows, I have noticed that I care more about the seedlings than I do the clones. They were 'free' and I have been screwing with them and trying stuff. Not even thinking about that with the babies :)

Grow notes so far.

I figure I need to get a few ounces out of the clones just to be safe stash-wise, but the one in the big pot is the one I am betting on to have good full tops. The 4 skunk seeds are for the contest and I am considering as "extra" as well. The NL will be my baby for that group and will be manifolded, cloned, etc.

I posted it on the contest page, but the four skunk seedlings will not be topped, LST'd or anything. I am testing 4 different nutes trying to decide which one to stick with and which will feed my tomatoes. They are just in the 2 gallon pots because I only plan to give them 2-3 veg feedings - enough to let them "experience" each different set of nutes and respond to them, then flipping so they don't get rootbound by the end. I am looking for 4 big tops, and a lot of bud-trimmer candidates.

My GDP clone should have been repotted when I first thought "wow, should I re-pot this?" But the tops are browning and I think that would do more harm than good now. Live and learn. The pot is hard as a rock and it drinks about 3/4 gallon every 2 days. Because of this I think I have screwed up the nutes and their timing. Again, live and learn. So when the lights come on I'm flushing her then blasting her with a 90%-100% feed to make sure that the junk to fix any deficiencies is there - knowing that if she doesn't like it she'll be dry in 2 days and I can flush her again. I am also snipping all the big fan leaves so they aren't shading the other plants.

With 2 or 3 gallon pots I can easily fit 4 in my veg room and 4 in the flower room. If I drop 2 seeds every month, I should eventually be harvesting 2 plants every month or so. Only issue might be a crowded flower room waiting on longer flowering plants to ripen.

But I could also fit two 5 gallon pots and drop one seed a month. Only issue there is a seed not popping set-back, but that only takes a week to see and fix. I'll get this figured.
