H.A.F. growing stink-flowers in dirt with QB's

Welcome! I got tired of the title of my page being from a grow that already harvested. Didn't know if I would stay here that long - I've tried other weed-chat sites...

My equipment:
Soil
⦁ Fox Farms Happy Frog and Fox Farms Lucky Dog 50/50 mix
Lighting:
⦁ HLG 260v2 XW in veg room
⦁ HLG 135v2 x 2 in flower room
⦁ HLG 65v2 (non-dimmable) in seed/clone tent
Ventillation
⦁ AC-Infinity Cloudline T6 in flower and veg
⦁ P.O.S. vivosun 4" fan in tent
⦁ small desktop oscillating fans

I plan to keep the signature block updated with what I am currently growing; and always welcome questions, comments, suggestions, messages, etc.

If I support a specific product, it is because I use it. If I give advice it is an opinion.

And if you are wondering if the moniker means what you think it means, I am retired and stay H.A.F. ;)

Here's where I grow. The closet is done. The 'nook' to the right has more space, but needs work to gain height.

My old page was https://www.rollitup.org/t/superskunk-manifold.982650/, and I'll get plant updates started in here from now on.

But the one on the left has my attention right now. GDP monster-clone that is only in a 2 gallon pot, is most likely rootbound, and needs watering or fed every 36-48 hours. She has FAT stems all the way to the top, is eating whatever I give her without blinking, and shows zero signs of nute-burn which is a first for me. I want to see her get purple (or not).

It's the OCD :) I just got tired of looking at the title. This one ain't going anywhere. That's why I generic-ized it.

Repotted the NL seedling into her 3gal forever-home. The bottom is all FFHF, the top is 50/50 FFHF and FFLD. 3 roots were showing around the outside of the cup, and one of them was near the bottom looking for an exit.

Overall though still chugging along.

This one still thinking about it

But my vegging one is looking like a Christmas wreath now. I am planning to flip this as soon as the seedlings outgrow the tent, but it would be nice to have the GDP harvested and out of the way first.

So we'll see how quick they veg under the 65.

Looking good btw I love gdp
Welcome! Yeah, I am a fan. I have 3 seeds left to pop for them, 7 skunk... I am itching for this NL to get grown for variety, but the gdp I am smoking now is spectacular. I gave it a run-down on that contest thread. It has Kevlar pistils LOL and this batch has cured perfectly and is lightly fruity, but dense like rocks. The stems are fat on the main colas up until the "post-flip" growth then they get normal. Right about the arrow on the top (you can see the pistil change) and the little side nugs all had normal stems too.IMG_6997 - Copy.JPG

My "daylight savings" quick-flip clone. Flipped on the 10th, still nothing.

Never lollipopped before, but all I really want on this one is some decent tops, so I am (duh) growing that way

Now I am DONE dealing with that one :) It is just going to shut up, sit in the corner, and grow flowers.

I am going to give this one a similar treatment, trying to get a set number of limbs with fat stems.

I'll say it again, a camera is a piece of equipment for growing. I did what I planned (for a change LOL) and I cleaned up and stretched out the one in veg like I did the one in flower. Did a before and after, then when I looked at the before I saw a limb I should have snipped. so I did :)

I did the pruning, because the seedlings in the tent are only under a 65w, and as they get bigger I want them in here. They'll only be in 2 gallon pots, (the NL is in a 3) but I think it will be too crowded with the 5 gallon, so it'll need to flip. or I'll have to switch veg and flower rooms to have room.
I am breaking in the NL. She's still domed, but under 100% of the 260w like a champ. She's about 24" instead of 18", but loving it. I'll un-dome her tomorrow for a bit and see what happens. Getting her used to the low humidity I watered a little around the outside of the bottle, then set the bottle over part of the wet soil.IMG_7901.JPG
