First ISO Oil/Hash? What is it?

So just finished making this. Used sugar trim and popcorn.

I was expecting hash. Is this hash oil?

Did I do okay?

I sit safe to put this stuff in the freezer? How do I store it until I have time to smoke it?

u need to purge it more, dab it you will know if there is iso still in it

Purge? Sorry these terms are new to me.

Yea i was about to say that.. its gonna be trickier now.. when purging is Iso or butane you should leave it in a thin film and wait for all moisture to evap..if you clump it together like you did its much more difficult... typically proper iso yields shatter at room temp. You can tell its not purged by the goopyness and how its multicolored and creamy.. spreading it thin and let it chill overnight will do ya if you don't have a vacuum and don't want to use heat.....how did you prepare the extraction?it almost looks like you whipped it with all those air bubbles

You c.an store in the freezer its better long term...but I don't, makes it shatter for sure if it isn't at room temp then its a pain in the ass to get some....that's why I've been leaving it as the powder in my avatar lately (what my product looks like after purge )

I used heat to evaporate. 150 F

How did you extract, length in solvent, how you filtered, temp of bud and iso, % iso, did you whip fold or otherwise mess with it besides clumping it,
Anyway just spread it thin and let it evap fully before you clump it or attempt to scrape.......if you didn't clump you need a dish with more surface area to have a thinner film, but that amount of oil was clumped I'm just saying for future...

It could be done by now though....have fun..

Extracted by pouring ISO over trim/bud in coffee filter and then squeezing it out. Took about 30-40 seconds each time. Then reused the ISO and kept repeating with new batch of trime in coffee filter until done. Was left with a golden water mixture.

I then heated the pyrex tray on an electric pan at 150 degrees until it evaporated the liquid away. Then took my razor and started to gather it. Was golden colored and beautiful.

Qwizo- quick wash isopropanol, commonly abbreviated iso...put a little zzzz in it and made it qwizo...I make a lot of iso hash, my preference when just performing a single wash as I think it extracts the best quality product(as a single wash, a winterized non polar,hexane, is my second go too)..also pretty familiar with chemistry

Thanks. I got it off some trim and popcorn from Fruity Chronic Juice. Was actually surprised to get so much.

Glad I could help, you can store it on parchment(baking parchment without silicone) is best I also like to just use a little glass vial

When frozen it should become solid and peel right off parchment and it won't stick to your fingers...small glass ashtray whatever lol
