Fire OG under PAR/PUR T5's 2nd Grow, Flowering Grow Journal

FIM techniques, even done correctly produce unpredictable top growth which can destroy a once even canopy. Most times one head will out-grow the rest and thus cast a deep shadow upon the others. Topping is great though! Topping is predictable and very helpful in restricting the spire-like cola which steals much vertical space. My advice is: never FIM, almost always top.

all training, even scrog messes with the hormones as the plant senses the apical dominant tip is not up high or there any more and sends hormones to the other tips to grow. ;)

well fim is little more than that.... you can cause other things to happen with FIM in essence you are creating 2 simultaneous hormone responses at once this can casue things to happen, like roots rising from the soil. but yes you mess with the hormones no matter how you train, the issue here is it takes it a little further than just topping or bending a stem. but Fim is a tek that works so im not hatn just sayn.

Yeah- looking good bro, keep it up. I am a big fan of very green plants, and you totally got that going on. You may eventually lighten up on the N so that your budz are less leafy if you notice that start happening (still fine for now). One day if you have the capability of separating out a plant or two but keeping all the other conditions the same, you should try a side by side comparison of feeding lighter to those couple plants. I think you might be surprised to find sometimes feeding lighter actually speeds things up, which I know goes against the mainstream of logic of more nutes=more results. Don't get me wrong, you have some beautiful ladies there doing just fine, but I'm a fan of lighter feeding because in my experiences I have gotten better results that way after years of trying to give them whatever is just short of burning them. Now I give them whatever is just a tad more of any deficiencies and feel it's actually better. What sort of e/c or ppm's (which scale too) are you currently feeding out of curiosity?

My next grow I will be able to focus on staying light with nutes and what not when I start doing hydro instead of soil. As far as feeding goes, I am just using the recomended schedule from earth juice on their sea blast bloom nutes. its a 3-26-22 nute blend. Thats all the N that is being added anymore and cant really seperate it out. So cant wait til I start hydro, i dont like being at the mercy of bacteria.

hehe "I don't like being at the mercy of bacteria" is a funny catch phrase. I add 6 drops of bleach to every gallon and say die mofos hehehe... Nice man, looks real good all things considered. Have a feeling your gonna be happy when this one finishes...

Here are some new photos, Day 58 since 12/12 flip. day 44 since showing pistols.

I was slanted in taking a few of the pictures of the buds, wanted to shoot some ones in the back to show how even all of the flowers are really growing. As always would love some imput. Right now I think I am about 15-20 days from harvest.

I'd say they are closer to 20+. Only a microscope can tell the whole truth though. Looking good.

-Dude
Your prolly right brother, the 15-20 is what they normaly run. its when I will start hitting em with the microscope often and looking closely for finish. Thanks for confirming what I thought though Duder, its much appreciated.

Snooch to the nooch!

Your scrog screen is almost identical to the one I made for the THC Bombs in the larger room to restrain them. They have grown 6-9 inches off the screen now in vertical spires. I have a feeling yours will thicken like pregnant sluts in those last 20.

Flowering Day 65 Picture update

Hows it going folks. As requested, here is the photo update for this week. This week will be the last time I feed the girls, and after the next feeding it will just be water till finish. I wish I wouldnt have had the PH issue early in flower, but all things considered it looks like I saved a decent yeild considering the problems I had durring this grow. I am going to start with my plants out in my veg/mother box. Things out there are looking very very green.

And now for the pics of my flowering girls.

Hope you guys enjoy, and as allways, comments are welcome.

Nice shape on the mothers. Pretty buds. Great job pushing the nutrients just enough to burn the tips. Looking really great.
