I found this on my fertilizers website: Mo – Molybdenum: Structural part of enzymes that reduce nitrates to ammonia for amino acid development essential to protein formation; required by nitrogen fixing bacteria. Deficiency symptoms: pale leaves with rolled, cupped margins. Seeds may not form. Nitrogen deficiency may occur if plants are lacking Mo.

I think we have a winner!!! Doesn't matter, I was going to double the feed anyway. It would have worked itself out. I feel a lot better though, arriving at some kind of understanding of what's going on, instead of guessing.
What's your pH at. That curl looks like ph issue...

Ambient air, 72, IR thermometer temperature on leaves @ 69-70F. Height from lamp to canopy is approx. 3.5ft currently. Was about 26 inches. I backed it off for now. I checked the ph on the worst ones, it's fine. I got between 6.4 and 6.6. I did a slurry test though. I don't have a soil pH probe, but my reader hasn't failed me before.

I water them once every 3 days so far, in a one gallon air pot. I give them each 2 cups of H20. When I pick them up, they are really light. I water until I see drainage. So far it's been about 2 cups.
With the nutes, I will give 1/2 teaspoon/gallon to 4 plants. The worst ones. I'll give the 1/4 teaspoon to the rest. I'll wait and see how they compare to each other. I gave them a foliar feed tonight about an hour before lights out (. So I guess, I'll just wait and see who does better. I DID NOT slurry test ~37 plants though. I'm wondering if there is a fungal problem in some of them. Right now, I'm sticking with deficiency, play my cards close to my chest, and hope that's what it is. Duke energy said 75% of their customers are going to lose power for up to weeks anyway. I'll probably end up starting over with a much easier strange. I hope I don't have to though, I love a challenge, and I could care less about the yeild. I just want to see some healthy plants :)

So today I pH tested all 37 plants, lol. It took forever. It was also water day. I let them go an extra day just in case I was over-watering. They were no drooping, but the leaves were laying down. They drooped when I watered them, but that is my bad, I didn't let the water come up to room temp and shocked the roots. They are recovering pretty fast though. So the pH range is pretty consistent. A lot of 6.5s, some 6.7s, a few 6.3s, 6.4s. Lowest was 5.9 but she was actually on the brink of death. Forgot to water her last go around, she was hiding in the corner. I added up all the pH levels and came to an average of 6.4. The highest one was 6.8 (only 1) So, I'm pretty sure it isn't the pH. I doubled the ferts on all of them. I miscalculated and was giving them half of what I thought I was before, lol.

I also stuck a popsickle stick in each plant with their respective pH. I'll keep an eye on the lowest and highest ones (there are only 2) and periodically sample the others.

Almost positive it's lockout due to deficiency. I hand watered them all with a damn turkey baster (took forever but was rewarding), let 20% drain, then dumped the runoff in a bucket that got flushed down the toilet. Interesting to note, the bucket of runoff water came out to exactly 6.5 pH. That was encouraging.

Something that I AM concerned about: Could this just be from the Epsom salts? It's white. The light doesn't show it too well. I'm tempted to go and dab some on my finger and lick it.

Tasted it...flavorless, odorless, weird. Maybe a result from air pruning? The roots on the bottom look great too, nice and white.

IMO it looks like salt build up... i don't if this kind of salt has flavor or odor. but it should probably be "salty" if it is salty, right? i had some of this at the end of my last grow, but i had no doubts it was salt. This does look like mold... not all mold has smells or taste.. I will be listening/watching if you figure it out just in case i ever encounter something like this as well!!
please let us know. it could be where water is not draining completely in/on these specific pots??

I'm going to give it a shot. Another 8 hour day in the grow room on my next day off, but it's so relaxing. Did I mention this was an experiment? :D Next grow I'll be transplanting up to 8-10 5 gallon pots with solid, expensive genetics   LoL. It's good experience though. But damn, every plant in there has different needs. Not too bad with 8-10 plants, but at 37 plants, it's quite time consuming. If I do a SOG-style grow again, I'll be using clones - also from superior genetics. At least, that's where I'm leaning now. Time will tell.

I personally think it’s light burn and light stress causing the deformed top leaves I’d get that light right up for a couple weeks let it recover
Yeah, I've got it around 4 feet now. Could be cause I'm using this new bulb for the first time - Hortilux Super HPS, before it was just a no-name generic HPS bulb. I guess this is a lot more powerful than that one. Thanks for taking the time to chime in, Josh!

Dude. I just realized what it is. I am feeding protekt. Silica. Extremely fine WHITE sand is essentially what it is. LOL.

I also started a neutral differential "program", or whatever you want to call it. I'm giving them the same temperature at night as they get during the day. Just until the stretch is done. It would be better if I could make the difference greater, but I'd have to manually do it, as I don't have any temperature regulators or any of that fancy jazz. And I can't always be there...So for now, neutral dif is what I can do. Should help with the stretching.

ooooooh!! ohhhh! which ones are you after??? once again i was going to do the exact same thing for my next grow.. but i cant decide whose to get.. :wall::wall:.. InHouseGenetics has my eye.. but there are a few more.... at 250 - 300 for 10 reg seeds i will definitely only be buying one pack and probably make some clones out of the better plants.

NICE!! lol i love those kind of realizations and finding out its nothing bad!

Dudre I'm eyeing DNA genetics, or MzJillz. They both have some lovely, lovely genetics (at least I've heard tell) but finding them in stock at a seed-bank is another story.

I could never justify spending that much for good genetics. But that's me. I'm not saying you are wrong at all! Just the way I feel. I've a;ready told myself I'll spend no more than 200 for 10 seeds, and that's feminized. 150 for regular.

And yes, it is a good feeling. I wonder how many people never made the connection. It's easy to miss. Cause it's clear. But I read a post from a disgruntled user who had said the stuff settled into a super-fine white talc-like sand. So the lightbulb went off. And that's not a nutrient, just a supplement. Hard to overdose your plants on silica. And that shit works. Stems are waxy and sticky. Bugs be gone. Lots of other benefits. And it's cheap! Did you notice I gave you a green leaf of awesomeness for your last grow? :D

hell yeah! how could i not notice! haha i appreciate. i didn't know how to ask what it was for :P.
lol yeah... i dont know if it will actually be worth it... but strains that can reach 30% THC??? what..... That is what is catching my eye... how damn frosty and beautiful it looks. i want to see stuff like that in person. like it just snowed! lmao..
It would probably be something i only did once... unless it comes out on point.. because when i DO run out and have to buy it... its 300 an OZ.. stuff of that quality is $400+ an OZ... IF YOU CAN FIND IT. That's how im justifying it, haha.

Man, I hear you. My last grow, you remember that, I yielded like 17 ounces. I'm down to shake now, lol. It went fast. It was popular. Just like I knew it was going to be. Basically, a lot of people got a lot of weed for free. Now I'm like, damnnnn, I gotta possibly buy my own shit that I gave away....back! Lol :WTF:

I'll never be that easy with my stash again. Fuckers. Lol.
