heres the conversion ....7 = 396*F.... I find that higher altitudes need a little higher temps... Washington 5-6 works Colorado 7

Hi Sativied.I am allergic to the chemicals they use to grow tobacco and also to the ones they put in afterwards and I get slime build up in my lungs. Herb can release the slime, according to some doctors, so when I smoke joints it's just a vicious circle of slime build up and releasing. Do you smoke pure joints or with tobacco? If you use (used) tobacco perhaps it is (was) the source of the problem.


The above reason is why I want to get rid of joints and to start of a got an Iolite vaporizer half price through my Marijuana Social Club. It's great but it doesn't get me baked. More of a small buzz perfect for when out and about or need a quick pain release (my old motto 'joints' for your joints) but it won't get me to sleep. It's more of a high active feeling. Another downer is once you light it up you are kind of stuck vaping for the next 20-30 minutes and I like to take a few smokes drink/eat sth and continue smoking. I feel the volcano gives me this option but here is my question in this long winded response. Does the volcano get you heavily baked like a couple fat joints? Can it get you to sleep even when insomnia is threatening to ring the doorbell?

How long do you mill it for? Do you need to use the fine screen set to prevent particles from getting into the bag?

much better high when vaping... i have a buddah works fine for me...

from my similiar experience if you pulsate the grinder-the herb is fine and no finer screen is needed!

the screen that's on the solid valves works fine...I have ground up bone dry buds into powder....no problem

if you vape the right strain yes

I do find the Vapes tend to be more "up". However, some strains, particularly this one Kush (of unknown origin, not an OG, an actual Kush valley plant) can really KO me in my vaporizers.

Their Plenty gives pretty similar quality hits, fairly portable but still needs a plug. Not near as portable as a pen vape.

And to the OP, yes I find the hits are a lot cleaner and my lungs are better off.

The volcano is worth the price; you'll learn a lot about cannabis. Don't be a weirdo and vape only at 5; look up cannabinoid boiling temperatures and inhale isolated compounds in each bag. Set it at 5-6.5 for a thc rich bag, 6-7.5 for cbd and thc rich tokes, and above for cbn. The volcano takes in moisture like a dehumidifier and shoots boiling water vapor over the plant matter, capturing it in a bag; so there's no "smoke" it's vapor. It leaves out a lot of carcinogens; so the high is NOT the same because the carcinogens get you high too. There's an endless amount of shit I could say; but I'll let you investigate. Get the volcano; it's dope. Definitely makes me feel better than smoking; but gives you baby lungs; I can't handle blunts well anymore (coughing wise).

Yeah the volcano was one of my best games.definitely the best money can buy and the bAgs are the shot.fill up a couple and hit the fishing spot all the time.

Just have to throw in my two cents. I Love my poor mans volcano. 120$ for a solid valve kit and 90$ for the hg1100 Makita heat gun. I use the settings between 1.5 and 2. works just like a volcano but no waiting for the heat up. friends w volcanoes wonder why they spent 600$ Hope it helps someone. I cant imagine no volcano, its all I use and I have plenty of glass.
