HELL YES! its the best thing you can do! faster results with sub cultures alone VS. Clonex gel.... that's my experience anyway...

I'm sticking with just water, if it ain't broke don't fix it right?
I have some powder stuff that I use when I transplant and it says on the packaging that it has applications in hydro reservoirs and organic teas.
But like I said, what I've got going on is working so I'm not adding anything new to the system. Even with my nasty chloramine tap water it works, straight from the tap into the oil pan and start bubbling!

I have better results with this than rapid rooters... cuts always get moldy for me in plugs and a dome.... True Aeroponic is the way to go.... with an aeroponic clone tub and some Mykos you can get plantable roots in 4-5 days.... Bubbleponics takes about a week or two

Oh ok cool, that makes sense. I've been having luck with them takes around 10 days but the last couple of times I've had low root percentage to cuttings these ones I have going now are taking a while. Im tempted to try one of these out tho. Have the stem hang above the water and the popping bubbles mist the stem? Sorry for the stupid noob questions just never done that before but seems to work good.

I see the best results in Aeroponic cloners with no humidity dome. The water pump is on a timer, it runs on for 15 minutes, off for 30 minutes, IMHO the preferred method would be on for 5, off for 20 but 5 minute increment timers are ~$75... Moist Oxygen/air ("High levels of humidity") is what drives the cut ends to search for water. The dry intervals are important, roots need oxygen and water!... Don't be afraid to use sub cultures or mykos.... Great White works wonders for me.... After a week change the water, after roots appear add in a SMALL amount of nutrients or clone-X solution to stave off starvation. Use something disposable or sterilize the support foam with Hydrogen peroxide or bleach... Any other questions?

Right now I run Aeroponic. I got a cheap 120gph submersible pump for $10 some 5/8 vinyl tubing for $3, 10 ez clone heads for $6......
I rigged it up in a $1 shoe tote "double stacked" (2 high, glued together with the "middle" cut out)... I set that in a 15 gal Rubbermaid to prevent floods....
I'll be 100% honest, I quit PHing my water about 6 months ago... out of the tap its 8.0 @ ~55ppm.... My nutrients, sub cultures, and clone solutions bring it down to 5.6-.5.7 @ 300 ppm.... After about a week ph rises to about 7.3-7.4 and rather than balance it or try to fight algae I start fresh each week..... Lighting is also very important, too much and you'll "bake" 'em or shine light in the root zone and the roots just wont develop.... Darkness in the "root"/cut tip area is a MUST.... lose the clear air line and block out all of the light to the "root zone".... Too little light up top and they'll stagnate and stop drinking/transpiring....
I love the way my Indagro420 works on clones that sit at the same height as my veg canopy....

Wow thar little bit of cal mag does some work frozen. Only put a little superthrive in the res to start but changed it out monday and added a little cal mag and they are looking better (were starting to yellow, think this shoulda been done sooner) and 5/8 have roots formed and the rest are bumpy ready for them.
Will try adding some myco fungi in a week when I use it again. Have a pack of roots oregonism to use so should work.
Quick question, do I gotta cut the top of the container to get the clones out safe with no root damage or slide the dart down and pull through? Just looking for some pointers so I dont damgar them on their way out

I pull 'em out then cut the dart off.... Stick to the Superthrive and mykos, ST will keep 'em green, just don't use more than a drop a gallon....

Oh cool, yeah I'll probably make a small black one here soon for my vegging area so I have better % of roots per cutting. Thanks for the good info dude.

My cutting's leaves are starting to curl. Too much light? I moved them to the side under a stronger light when i reorganized and, a couple days later, when I noticed the curl I moved them even farther away.
I'm not sure if the curl is the result of the much brighter light or the fact that I scraped the stems before placing in the cloner. They didnt curl from the scraping after the deed a couple days later they curled after the more intense light

the curling is from lack of osmosis/light that's too intense..... I always scrape stems and split them down the middle before I put 'em in the clonerMy cutting's leaves are starting to curl. Yeah I had reorganized my veg area and put the cloner under the T5s for a couple days, I guess it was too intense.
I've since moved them farther away. If it doesn't get better than I'll set them up with their own 9w bulb again, but I'd rather not have another cord to trip over.
Thanks bud, I figured that it had to do with the increase in light intensity.

While clones need very little light mine do just fine in the corner of the veg closet under a 400. Just my input. Not saying it means anything .

mine are less than a foot away from an Inda-gro 420 pro... Puts out the equivalent of a 600-750 watt hps... It comes down to the fact that its 100% formulated light for plant growth. Imho, The rest are not even close....
