Tent #3 (14 mixed clones) Day 1 of flower was (11/18/20) should finish around the last week of January. On 11/17 I applied the new round of cover crop and trellis net. The cover crop was applied around 1/3# per bed. And the mulch is from last round of cover crop. I also loaded them up with supplements to the max lol. This is my little special flare to getting the beds really active.
(I don't measure lol)

Tent #2 (15 Slurricane IX clones) Day 1 of flower was (11/18/20) should finish around the last week of January. On 11/17, I applied the new round of cover crop and trellis net. The cover crop was applied around 1/3# per bed. And the mulch is from last round of cover crop. I also loaded them up with the same supplements as bed #3. As, its my little special flare to getting the beds really active and going.

So here is a little knowledge about Bio-Stimulates and why I use them. The research is from the Netherlands and I got the info from Harley at NPK University on YouTube (I got the info for free so I bought their products to show my thanks). Their government doesn't allow fungus or pesticides. They won 1st place for sugar contents in fruits. With Bio-Stimulates their losses came to an impressive 0% and had a 10% increase in yield. Now add this to No-Till and vermicomposting in the beds and we might understand the process on the same level. I'm using science to speed up mother nature lol.

-It increases water and mineral uptake
-Opens Ion channels
-Stimulates plants natural resistance to pest and diseases.
-Improves quality and yield

Amino Acids bonds to calcium
-It improves calcium uptake 1000 times faster. Give you thick soild stem vs weak thin stems. Calcium is a build block for stem walls. You want L-Amino Acids or Protein Hydrolysis. The more mineral uptake equals a higher brix level.
(Brix is just a scientific measurement of plant health and nutrient value by measuring the sugar level. Its just a scientific guide. The basic principle is that the more sugar that is in the sap the less water is there. But don't like the thick sap so the more it is the pest won't bother your plants.)

Kelp has growth hormones and 62 trace elements
- Used as a foliar spray it breaks special dominance

Humic Acid pair with Kelp extract at a 5:2 ratio acts as a Bio-Stimulate.
-It improves stress tolerance

Pairing Humic Acid, Fulvic Acid, and Kelp
-Buffers P.H, increases iron intake
+( Makes more sugar)
-Increase flavor and nutrition

Enzymes
-B1 induce plants resistance against pathagens and stress
-B1,B2,B3,&B-6 form co-enzymes
+Stimulates metabolism

Sugar
-cane molasses equals carbohydrates. It feeds the microbes that feeds the plants

Microbes is the Bio-Stimulates factory!!!!
Hence why I use a little bit of grow microbes and heavy on bloom microbes. Tailored to what I use the beds for, only flowering baby!

The plants feeds the microbes and the microbes feeds the plants.

Mycorrhizae (Root Fungus)
-Increase surface area of Root zone
-Helps increase water and nutrient uptake
-Unlocks Phosphorus,iron,and calcium
When inoculating with mycorrhizae also use a Phosphorus solubilizing bacteria.

The down side is that 20-30% of photosynthesis goes to feeding the mycorrhizae!
(Higher Brix equals more chemical reactions and stores sugar in leaf sap)

Micro organisms can make B-vitamins
-B1 at high does put the plants natural hormones on high alert to protect the plant
-They also make Amino Acids

Adding Microbes can be done in 2 ways
-Compost Teas
-Microbial Inoculation
+Green waste
+ Worm Castings
(NPK Fertilizer has a grow and bloom microbe blend)

Nitrogen fixing bacteria
- Helps convert atmospheric nitrogen to plants available nitrogen
- Promotes efficient use of nitrogen directly on roots. It feeds the protozoa's.

So I did my tea on Friday (11/2)
I made a 10 gallon batch and feed each bed roughly 5 gallons a piece.
I used:
Cal-Mag (Emerald Harvest)
Liquid Fish Hydrolysate (Kelp 4 Less) 2-3-0
Amino Acid (Raw Nutrients) 7-0-0
Enzymes (Raw Nutrients)
Grow Stage Microbes (Raw Nutrients)
Bloom Stage Microbes (Raw Nutrients)
Kelp (Raw Nutrients) 0-0-1
Cane Molasses (Raw Nutrients) 0-0-1
Humic Acid (Raw Nutrients) 0-0-4
Certified Organic Fulvic Acid (Power Grown) .56-0-0
Potassium 0-0-50 (Raw Nutrients)* used at a very very light rate

So as of (11/30) I'm at day 12 of flowering from the flip. This is Tent #3. The tent with 14 of multiple strains. The cover crop is coming in strong. It's been 13 days since I dropped them in them beds and it's going! I think it's too early to pat it down so I'll give it another week and then do the first smash. Plus it'll work out where I can do the week 3 top dress early and drop in some compost and do a little Avacado Tech. If I do it that way it'll form a brown mulch layer on top of everything. So its all theory but I'll definitely be recording the results on here.
I was going to let them just grow as single cola style but I seen so many gaps and the canopy was uneven early too. I just couldn't help it and started bending tops to fill some of the empty spots lol. I also started to kick up that wattage and they're responding well. Im still getting used to LED's so I'm getting closer to getting over the learning curve!

Tent #2 has 1 strain, 15 of Slurricane IX (Dan_Kizzay Cut). I'm really really excited about this run. My dude Kizzay selected one hell of a cut and shared it with me. It's a combination of Berry/Hash/Sour nose in flower. The terps carries over very well into cure and that smoke it's just as it smell but add kush to the mix on the exhale. Hands down one of my favorite cuts in my current library. But it's day 12 of flowering from the flip like tent #3 and feed the identical tea. The cover crop is 13 days old from when I put them in the beds. Like I said about bed #3 the cover crop is rocking! But I personally feel it's to young to get smashed. So next weekend will be the time I'll knock it out and smash it. Knocking it out next week allow me to do my week 3 top dressing that'll take me through weeks 4-7. My final top dressing is done week 6. I will stop with the supplemental Teas week 3 (day 21). After tucking tent #3 I said what the hell and did tent #2 as well lol.IMG_20201129_235759.jpgIMG_20201130_010716.jpg

Kick off the update with tent #2. We're on day 16 of flower. No supplements or anything this week but I'm going to wet down the beds this weekend with plain tap water. I should have about 5-7 more days of stretch. But I did finally smash down the cover crop, selectively defoliated, and lollipop them. So that's all for them until next weekend. Since day 21 falls mid week (Wednesday 12/9) and I'm wetting down the beds this weekend. I'm going to do the last supplemental feeding between (Friday 12/11- Sunday 12/13) or between day 23-25 of flower.
IMG_20201204_205519.jpg

Tent #3 gets the identical care and feeding as tent #2. A quick before and after picture! I think this tent is going to out yield tent #2. A.T.G's cut of Hazmat OG has taken well to the training. If this tent yields more it'll definitely be because of Hazmat.

I had my auto in tent #1 but.... The last of the straggler clones are going in FINALLY! They ran out of nutrients even with the last top dressing. But they did come out the cloner last and I used the mix I made up for the autos. Autos requires a light nutrient mix then photos. So we're going to switch out the veg setup and adjust it for the autos. I'm literally going to seed out the entire crop of autos, so feel like I can knock it out with the Led shop lights. If I was going for smoke my yield would definitely be effected.

If your into autos I'm documenting the auto breeding in the Auto section
(Out with the Autos)
IMG_20201204_225219.jpg

So tent #1 is setup identical to tent #2 & 3. Minor difference is this tent has a round shape bed but it's still 67 gallons. Bed #1 has never had plants planted directly into them. I sit the fabric bags on top of the soil and let the roots grow into the beds. But it did get fertilized and had cover crop like the other two tents.

I havent talked about temperature and humidity, nor how i monitor it. I been using these bluetooth environment loggers for that. Its nothing fancy about it but it does allow me to check and log the temps without having to open the tents.
(I have one in all 3 tents plus the greenhouse)

(Picture of the home page). I can just scroll and conveniently see everything

(Checking individual temps) You can read temps in hour increments, day, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Overall it has helped me dial in my environment. It was less than $15.00 on Amazon when i bought it. But that was in the summer of this year so hopefully its still around the same price.

So tent #1 is definitely going to need some love. They went in late Friday night. It is another mix of genetics. Plus i decided to cycle out a couple moms. J.M.O is being replaced with a fresh smaller clone and the other is Mac Stomper #13 from @dan_kizzay. Its just not my kind of terps, so this is the last run with it. I also had some food scraps i was going to use for worm food but i needed some mulch lol. I did sow some cover crop seeds so within a week the beds should have a nice cover. I had some green onions and leeks that re-sprouted in the refrigerator so i just planted them to see what would happen. I have some wilting on one J.M.O and MS-13 but i think they'll bounce back. Im going to give these sad ladies about 2 weeks or so to turn around before i flip. As long as i can train and contain the bigger plants, it won't be to bad!

But its 18 plants in this bed. With
1 MS-13 (Mac Stomper #13)
1 Hazmat OG
3 J.M.O
6 Sour D Wilson
7 GSOG (Grape Stomper OG)

(It looks worse than what it is lol)
20201206_200958.jpg

My bed already started showing signs that its alive. I used some mixed greens as a mulch. Already, mycelium is going to work breaking down the organic matter. Plus my worms migrated to it as i was applying it to the beds!

This is definitely going to be a on going thread lol. And after this round its going to be some shifting around. I like to think of myself as a pheno hunter/pollen chunker. And before i went M.I.A on IG, i guess i caught the eye of a writer lol. He grew some of my genetics and i guess i impressed him enough that he wanted to write about me. So im going to drop the link if anyone is interested.

Meet The Breeder Interview Series: Eastcoast_genetix — Smoke https://smoke.io/grow/@xxoxx/meet-the-breeder-interview-series-eastcoastgenetix#

So im putting that out there because..... im about to get back into pheno hunting and breeding. I found my old binder that i use to use when i was documenting and pheno hunting my genetics.

(Because im limited on space, i have to map out a general idea of how to time everything)
20201207_203644.jpg20201207_203702.jpg
(This will allow me to really throughly document each pheno. Yeah i know, alot of paperwork but the information as a breeder is gold!)
20201207_203925.jpg
Then a little reading gets tossed in there lol. I have Dr. Cho's Global Natural Farming book and a research article about producing Predator Mites.

So with mapping out everything and thinking what to do for the next round. I seen that in order for me to do a pheno hunt and find the keepers in time for a outdoor run, i gotta get seeds going within the next few days. If i can accomplish that then they'll be ready for flower when tent #2 & #3 comes down.

It was truly hard to decide what to pop out of a bigger collection than i remember. So im going to do some full packs and some half packs and a couple quarter packs(3-4 beans). Im starting extras so when i cull runts and in case something doesnt pop, I'll be ok. Im going to keep them small (micro)so i can fit more lol.

Im going to mainline them. Training will start at day 30, i'll use the main top for sexing and pull out all the males but I'll go into that as i get to it. Sooo.... here's the list:
