HYPE???? NO ITS A FACT!!!! The police now have the right to request/DEMAND your blood...if you deny and say no.... they can and will take it by force.

You now have another felony charge on you if you fight.... & ur DNA is now on file
You are crazy to think that a cop is going to draw your blood on the side of the road. First they need a reason to pull you over, then they need proof of impairment and at they point they can take you to a medical facility to have your blood drawn. Sounds like a lot of you need to actually read I-502 first. Here is a link for the lazy: http://www.northwestnugs.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/I-502.pdf

you are really ill informed to think they cant.... a cop can pull your blood if he has the proper training... on the spot.

read the new dui blood draw law that was instated on August 1st 2012......... not I-502

Proff of impairment can now be just a written statement by the arresting officer stating he phyically saw you driving impaired and It will stand up in a court of law...they dont even have to show up for the court date

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. -- A new law that took effect Aug. 1 in Washington allows State Patrol troopers to have blood drawn from drunken driving suspects, even if they won't give it voluntarily.

Patrol spokesman Bob Calkins says this allows repeat drunken driving cases to be handled as felonies from the time of arrest. Felony DUI carries a 5-year sentence, versus 1-year for misdemeanor DUI.

Troopers who receive appropriate training can administer the blood draws, as well as medical professionals and other trained responders. Calkins also says dispatchers have been trained to check records and let troopers know when they have stopped a felony suspect
If/when I-502 passes... police enforcement will now have a list of all medical patients to cross refenence with drivers licenses....

who do you think they gunna target or pull over first for marijuana dui tests..... licenced patients!!??

The benefits of this Initiative far out-weigh the negatives in my opinion. Vote Yes!

This is clearly a personal decision everyone must make.

However, I wish to see less people going to jail for marijuana...this will certainly drastically decrease that number.
will this cause any problems with drug dealers ? violence ? cause if people 21+ buy then dealers will loose money and more crime will rise and yea..

first of all, there is a law that allows for mobile at site blood test to prove that you are not impaired, its al ready a law in washington

secondly when have you ever known a cop not to take advantage of any law

I-502 is supposed to free the weed . . all it does is gives us a unscientific in any way DUI law, limits the amount you can buy, and taxes a ounce

from grower at 100 dollars to 762 dollars . . . . aint going to be any good weed in these stores and what was previously a misdemeanor

40grams and under is now a felony 28 grams or over or a felony is your weed aint able to be traced back to a serial number

this is not a legalize bill, its a fine and punish bill disguised as a choice to now buy shitty pot from the state commercial agricultural growers

1oz legal possession is not legalization- do we have laws on amounts of cig, or beer we can have . .nope

DUI law based solely on refer madness is not legalization- do we have drinking driving laws based on fear/ignorance . .nope

taxation over 700% . . is not legalization- does this happen to any other agricultural or pharmaceutical item . . . nope

this bill is paid for by progressive insurance and is just another way to get you to pay for higher insurance rates, suspended licenses , DUI,s

and felony possession charges while every other legalization bill is doing the opposite, reducing fines and charges for possession and growing

VOTE no and show big business that your civil rights will not be bought, for a pyrric victory . . .the appearance of being free to smoke and

consume Cannabis

the DUI law alone is worthy of throwing this away, couple that with the felony over 28 grams, 700% increase from cost and you have a Trojan horse bill designed to punish and not legalize

if patients can not drive due to knowing they are over the NG limits of THC in blood . . then the state better be ready to pay for a lot of assisted living cost, of driving all these patients around

No proof of the government stopping funds. But Denver Colorado used to have legal pot back in 2004 or so. Why would the state all of a sudden criminalize it again I believe within less that 2 years. I was just talking about this with my coworker, who lived in colarado when all this happend.
P.S. Your not going to find any news on the government cutting all federal funding to that state. Its called censorship aand man i hope my kids and yours do to!
So you are making up the story that the government cut all Federal Funding? It seems so as it is highly unlikely they would do this and there be no records of it. I think you should not blame government censorship as they don't censor the Internet as evidenced by the numerous sites out there filled with crazy conspiracy theories and other fiction like your claim they cut federal funding to Denver.

this isn't going to cause violence. The state is going to try and sell 1/8's for $50-$60 and everyone is going to do what they do now, get their weed from their dealers! The state thinks that people are going to pay extra just for a stamp on the bag that says it's legal weed from the state? No worries, I voted no on 502, if it passes we will deal with it! If it drives the price of weed up good for the growers!!! ;) If it takes two steps back tward leglization............. I don't give a fuck Im medical and 502 doesn't fuck with that! The DUI law, well there isn't any way around it so that will be another thing we have to just deal with!

Smart people will apply for their licences to grow for the state and then turn around and ship it right out of the state! LOL Who the fuck would grow for the state and have to jump through all their hoops then turn aruond and sell to a "Processor" at a masive discount just so the state can make their %75 tax!

Im gonna look at growing for the state and medical! LOL hopefully soon Ill be rolling 5-600 plants through this bitch! LOL One Oz for the state 50 Oz's for me! I know that sounds like I am exagerating but if you think about it why wouldn't anyone do that? Sell to wa state for about $100 an oz or cross the border and sell it for 220-250 an oz? HMMMM what to do? And anyone that will grow for the state will be people like us! LOL and we aint bout to take a pay cut just to be in wa states good graces!

If 502 passes...anyone who wants to grow for stores or own stores... will have to go through a FBI background check..and they will be making the master mmj list per state

they are making it so if you are a grower.... you can have nothing to do with owning a store....its either or

last time I checked marijuana is still a schedule 1... Federally illegal drug.....who wants to be the first to do the Federal background and get proccessed

Then I guess nobody will grow for the state? I hear ya man and I am with ya on all of it, but I voted no and we will see what happens. If a cop forcably took my blood I would probably just take his first and last name. That is all I need to know to maybe forcabley repay the favor? But I think that is all a little far fetched, not imposible just not likely. I have been pulled over many times and a few of them fucked up and the cops have never been dicks to me when I didn't deserve it. I doubt I would give a cop a good reason to draw blood. Data base with the MMJ people in it? What ever happens happens, all we can do is vote and see what happens! I don't want 502 to pass but if it does it will be fun to watch the plan blow up in the states face! LOL We will see, and if the DUI law gets out of hand lawyers will take care of it.

Is this final? FUUUUCK YES!
I wish it was brother, go into the county map they have only tabulated 1/3rd of the state currently. I thought it was the final too then looked into it... so close... so close... keeping my fingers tied this one is close.

And think you for the bing results, but somehow I wonder if they are jumping the gun. The state website updated 12 minutes before my posting, and I am not sure if bing is keeping up with state initiatives.

UPDATE: it doesn't look good for patients who drive, the YES vote is up by 2% and there are only 9 counties left to enter their tabulations...

And on a side note those who care 64 passed in colorado, let the change begin.

I am tense, need to go home soon but kept seem to get away from watching this develop... and as I said 64 passed. This could be an interesting day for the fed...

UPDATE: Crap 56% yes vote... 8 counties left to weigh in, we need an extreme to swing it and I just don't see it. Out of the counties left only one is known for being conservative so prepare to the end of ones ability to drive when licensed is nigh.... I wonder how many stake outs there will be outside of the local dispensaries?

A year of rule making before the stores even open up....so good luck buying your oz :)

We still cant grow even 1 plant.... so how is it legalization???
